At the invitation of AmCham Romania, the local business community together with the local administration of Timisoara took part in the first edition of the U.S.-Romania Business Bridges, via Timisoara.
The conference is part of AmCham’s regional outreach agenda aimed at fostering a constructive policy-industry dialogue & partnership for increasing the investment profile of major cities and their entire region.
As Timis County is home to major U.S. companies doing business in Romania, the conference builds on the shared commitments towards increased trade and investments reiterated at the recent U.S. – Romania Economic Forum: from Security to Prosperity.
Timisoara plays a central role in the development of the entire western region, as U.S. Charge D’Affaires David Muniz mentioned in his opening speech where he also highlighted what U.S. investors are looking for when prospecting new destinations for business.
