Over the past two weeks, I've had nine new clients sign on for counseling. I was initially surprised by the growth given the time of year. The summer is not a time of year when professionals are typically in job search mode. But, I'm so proud of these clients for recognizing that a job search takes time, and that building a network is the first step in doing so. Building a network doesn't happen overnight - it requires significant time and effort. I'm looking forward to working with these new clients on growing their professional contacts and exploring next steps in their careers. The real work happens in the off-season!
