10 days. 3 cities. A thousand memories. 🇮🇹✈️
Rome, Florence, Amalfi Coast — it was my kids’ first time in Europe, and though I studied abroad in Italy in my 20s, this trip felt totally different.
This time, I saw it all through their eyes.
✨ Cobblestone streets.
☕ Tiny espresso bars.
🏛️ Ancient ruins.
🚆 Train rides.
🌅 Amalfi sunsets.
Their curiosity, awe, and occasional jet-lagged confusion reminded me how transformative it is to experience a new culture for the first time.
It got me thinking about the space that I try to create in my work. So often, clients come to me feeling stuck or unsure. My role isn’t just to provide answers. It’s to help them see their world differently: to notice the strengths, stories, and possibilities they might have overlooked. To look at something familiar with fresh eyes, and in doing so, discover new direction.
That’s what this trip gave me: a reminder that wonder, learning, and growth happen when we’re willing to look again, and really see.⠀
