We chose Pearl Beach & Resort to celebrate a birthday and it was the perfect decision. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and ideal if you want to truly relax. There are plenty of comfortable spots to lie down, sunbathe, and enjoy the surroundings. We stayed in room 113 and the sunset view was absolutely stunning. The private jacuzzi plunge pool on the terrace made it even more special. The bed was very comfortable and the room felt calm and luxurious. The staff were all very kind and welcoming. A special thank you to Ben, the manager, who went above and beyond to help organize the birthday and made sure everything was perfect for us. Highly recommended for a relaxing stay or a special occasion.

We had the most incredible stay at Pearl Beach Resort and can’t recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, Benjamin and his team made us feel genuinely welcome and cared for. The level of service was warm, attentive, and effortlessly professional — you can really feel that this resort is run with heart. The private beach is peaceful and pristine, perfect for truly switching off. Having our own private plunge pool was such a luxury — morning swims with ocean views and sunset dips made the stay feel extra special. The food was also great. Every meal was beautifully prepared, fresh, and full of flavour. If you’re looking for a relaxing, high-quality island escape with personal service and beautiful surroundings, this is it. We can’t wait to return

Really unsure why this hotel has such fantastic reviews, there are much better hotels across both islands for half the price. Sadly, I cannot recommend this hotel. The hotel itself did not mirror the photos and ratings I had seen on the listing. This was the most expensive place we have stayed in Cambodia so far and I really feel it is not worth the value for money at all. I booked this as a treat for a special occasion and feel really let down about choosing this. The hotel was outdated and quite dirty (glasses not cleared from days before, pool not cleaned and despite paying $600 for our room it was only cleaned once because we asked - I would think it was expected to clean daily for that price). Also, no where on either booking.com or their website does it state you can only access Saracen beach via boat only and this also costs $10 per person each trip. Had I had known this I would not have booked this hotel as we felt 'trapped' and wanted to explore the island. We took the boat one day but the other two days the water was rough so this was not an option. Luckily there is a lovely restaurant just off site (Sky Bar) which was fantastic, we ate here 3 times. I also feel the staff need more training on basic service. Getting to the hotel was unclear, not made aware of when washing had been done, we had to ask and collect from reception, which again I'd expect from a 3 star/$100 hotel but not somewhere that says it is luxury and charging upwards of $500. I'm really confused as to why the reviews are so positive for this hotel as I feel they have a lot of work to do to live up to

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The sea view villas are magnificent and the location is very quiet, Perfect for relaxing. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming throughout our visit. I must give a special mention to the Assistant Manager, Chanrit. He is truly customer-centric and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Highly recommended!

What a fantastic experience we had at Pearl Beach resort and spa ! Great location at the beginning of Saracen Bay, set in a lush tropical forest with a beautiful sunset every evening. Bungalows are well appointed. Food is great, with a good mix between Asian and western food. But above all the staff is so kind, friendly and attentive. And the GM Ben is the best GM you can imagine in such a place: Always smiling, always caring, always assisting from early morning to late evening. With such an energy, we were asking ourselves if we was not assisted by a twin brother ☺️ Thank you Ben and staff for everything 🙏

Absolutely beautiful stay! staff were very friendly and helpful, food was delicious. Great location, resort has their own private beach. Very quiet and kept clean and tidy! Did an amazing private our through the resort, half day for snorkelling, exploring a village, fishing and swimming with glowing plankton at night. Highly recommend, great tour guide with Mr Rith!

We were wowed by the outstanding customer service from Ben, a true gem of a general manager, who personally oversaw the preparation of all my meals to ensure they were Gluten Free and Celiac safe - and delicious too, despite the chef's reluctance to leave out the usual tasty gluten-containing ingredients! In countries where allergies are not well understood, it is so reassuring to feel confident that special dietary requirements are taken seriously, which allowed us to truly relax. Hospitality is clearly Ben's calling, and we were so grateful for his help, humour, and charming personality. We loved the refreshing little private plunge pool on the deck of Deluxe King Villa 114 with shade from trees that offered partial water views. From our vantage point, it seems Villa 113 might have the best view of the beach and the bay from its plunge pool, which is a bit more private since it's downhill from road. The villa offered plentiful amenities, including a very comfortable bed, quiet AC, large rain shower with plenty of hot water, soft towels, colourful sarongs, bathrobes, sandals, umbrellas, and more. The foot wash at the bottom of the staircase was useful, yet not fully utilized by previous guests as there was sand in the bottom of the plunge pool. The private beach has nice golden sand with a gradual slope, and a sign by reception cautions guests that it is sea urchin season. There are lots of loungers along the beach and around the infinity pool (plus a fun over-water swing!) with fantastic views of the sunset over the water. Although the resort was at full capacity, it never felt crowded as there's plenty of places to spread out, and little nooks to discover. Kayaks, SUPs, and snorkel gear are available for use at any time. Nice little upgrades could be a resort map, additional hammocks, and foot wash stations by the restaurant and boardwalk entrance. We were delighted to see bioluminescent plankton in the little waves lapping up on the beach around 7-8pm. The key is to find the darkest area available (ask the staff) on a moonless night. Splashing around in the sparkling water was simply magical! The GTVC speed boat from Sihanoukville conveniently arrives directly at the resort's pier. The boat ride can take 30 - 90 minutes depending on whether other passengers are picked up enroute (our boat made 3 additional stops, providing a scenic route), so allow extra time if making connections. It's 100% worth the effort to get here!

Pros: The location is stunning. The hotel is set directly by the sea and offers a private beach with breathtaking views, clear water, and good swimming conditions. During our stay in early to mid-January, the sea was very calm and perfect not only for swimming but also for longer activities like kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding, which we really enjoyed. The beach itself is great and one of the highlights of the property. The entire resort is spacious, quiet, and well designed, offering a lot of privacy. It’s ideal for a true resort vacation where you mainly plan to stay on the property, relax, and enjoy nature. That said, excursions are still very easy to organize. The hotel offers a variety of activities and trips, such as wooden boat tours, private boat trips, and fishing excursions, and you can reach nearby places easily via private boat transfers, which work like a water taxi. Although the prices are higher than the prices we knew from the mainland. The food was good, but you should expect high prices. Starters were priced at around USD 5–9, local dishes range from USD 6/7-12, and Western dishes are available from approximately USD 7–26/30, including more refined, higher-end options. Smoothies cost around USD 2–3. The menu is varied, and the kitchen is accommodating when it comes to individual wishes and dietary needs. This was especially meaningful for us, as we were sick for a few days and struggled to eat properly. The team went out of their way to prepare suitable meals for us without charging extra, which we found incredibly kind and great service. Important if you didn't get anywhere else because of the extrem remote location of the hotel. The staff was great—Everyone was helpful, caring, and professional, with medium-great English skills. During our illness, they supported us, which made a big difference. We also want to highlight the spa—The Khmer massages were outstanding, performed by skilled staff, and easily among the best massages we’ve had in Cambodia. Good to know: There is not much more than the resort—you’ll find a small mini market and another lil restaurant within walking distance. We personally liked this setup a lot, but it’s something guests should be aware of in advance. Cons: The price! We stayed in a Deluxe Villa with a king-size bed and plunge pool. While the room was clean, we found the room price definitely way too high when considering the room and conditions of the hotel itself. You are definitely paying for the exceptional location, which is absolutely fair — but it’s still worth mentioning. The mattress was extremely hard, which caused some discomfort and made sleeping (after day three) a bit difficult for us. Our privat plunge pool was beautifully located but somewhat run down so we didn’t end up using it. The main pool area is nicely designed but felt a bit dated, and unfortunately, it was out of order during our stay. The water clarity seemed as if it could be improved. Something that could upset travels if you’re paying 160-180€ (almost 200$). While everything was clean overall, the shared guest restrooms also could have been cleaner. Overall: Despite the relatively high price, we would still recommend this hotel. With a few adjustments it is going to be perfect for travelers looking for a peaceful, private resort experience in a stunning natural setting with potentially good service. The staff, food, spa, and location are all excellent, and despite a few small downsides, this place is recommendable — especially if relaxation, privacy, and genuine hospitality are what you’re looking for.

A very lovely place to spend some relaxing days at the sea. We had a very nice and modern bungalow above the sea with a nice patio & jacuzzi. This made even the raining times a pleasure -sitting & relaxing there and listening to the sound of the nature around us. The infinity pool is great as well as the restaurant and the whole resort. The team is very supportive and spoiled us for having a very good time. Thanks to David & team for the great hospitality and stay here at Pearl Beach resort 🫶
