The definition of euthanasia goes something like this:
“...the painless end-of-life procedure for a patient suffering from an incurable and painful disease”
For pets, we would more readily change the definition to:
“...the painless end-of-life procedure for a beloved pet suffering from an incurable and painful disease or debilitating effects of old age”
Nobody wants their pet to suffer during a long, painful illness or beyond what appears comfortable for them.
If your dog or cat struggles to stand to go to the bathroom or no longer seems interested in eating, you may want to seriously consider calling me.
I’ll come to your home, assess their quality of life, and make recommendations for you and your pet based on my findings.
Don’t let them suffer.
