What design factors do you consider when building retaining walls to ensure long‐term stability?
We assess soil type, slope, groundwater conditions, wall height and load (surcharge), including nearby structures, snow load, and weight above wall. Drainage is built behind every retaining wall to manage hydrostatic pressure. Materials and reinforcement (e.g. steel, geogrid) are chosen depending on load and height. Walls are designed to avoid shifting, sliding, or tipping.
