Some things you can do to prevent German cockroaches would be to inspect carefully any drink containers, cardboard boxes, or grocery bags, that come into your home. Carefully check for roaches before buying any new or used appliances such as refrigerators, toasters, and microwaves. Put all food away and clean any crumbs from off the floor and on counters. Do not leave food out for long periods of time. Put all pet food in closed bins. Clean in and around your stove, microwave, and toaster ovens. Check the pantry for any opened and unsealed food items. Just these few tips can help keep your home free of German roaches.
