We brought our 2013 Smart ForTwo to Patriot in December, and had ever confidence they would be able to get the job done. Our large family uses a 12 passenger Nissan NV, so I use the Smarty as my 40 miles round-trip daily commuter car to save on fuel. Turned out, our little car became a bit of a problem child that refused to accept the replacement timing chains the guys at Patriot got for it. In the end, they had to get a whole new engine for our Smarty and while the process took longer than expected (about 3 months), they did a GREAT JOB. ***** FIVE STARS ALL THE WAY! They also communicated with us regularly by phone or text with a pleasant attitude, and if they felt like chucking that little car in the nearest scrap heap out of frustration, they never let us know it. With its engine tightly crammed in the back, we KNOW this super compact car is a pain in the neck to work on. This particular job was beyond our ability and as such, we hated to burden any shop with the task. It had to be done....and Patriot Garage did it. When they finally called us to pick up the car, we tested it and heard some rear end noise that... just didn't sound right. They checked it out and QUICKLY fixed that problem as well so we could get on our way home over an hour away. Now, a couple of weeks later, our little Smarty Car is still behaving PERFECTLY and even better than it was before it started having trouble. - - - They may not want to hear it, but if this car has other issues, we'd GLADLY bring it back to Patriot Garage.
