The staff at Parkrose Vision is super professional and kind. I wish all of my doctors were as thorough and easy to understand as Dr. Kim. Thanks to the whole team for answering all of my questions, from my vision and health of my eyes to insurance and frame styles. No matter what is going on with my eyes, I know I’ll have the best possible care. Also, they have a great parking lot!

As it has been twenty years since my last eye exam (having received Lasik surgery in my 20's), I knew my eyesight was getting bad (again), but I didn't realize how bad it actually is. Thankfully, Dr. Kim is a consummate professional whose knowledge and expertise are immediately obvious, once you begin speaking with her. With this clinic basically around the corner from home, choosing Parkrose Vision was a no-brainer for me, but I can say with confidence that anyone requiring ocular assistance need not look anywhere else.

The last eye place I went to made several mistakes in both the exam and the expensive glasses I received. Even though I could tell that my vision was getting worse I put off getting an exam for a few years. My experience with Parkrose was like night and day. I was very impressed with every aspect of the business. Will definitely go back.

I was very happy with the service overall. They worked hard to honor my time because I had to leave promptly for another appt. The doc explained things really well. And they worked with me so I stayed within my budget.

So many cheerful smiles you'd think you were at the dentist! Honestly though, after my last eye exam with another provider left me with a sour taste in mouth, I couldn't have landed on a better place to go for eye care. Highly recommended!

UPDATE** I could not see with the glasses provided. The brown ones pictured are what I received from another provider. I was never offered high index lenses. I dont even know if you have the 1.74 or which ones you have. Its not a matter of cost if I’m obviously willing to pay for Raybans. So you tried it. But no you and the clinic did a poor job. The exam was good, the product not so much. They thought these glasses were acceptable. Who would wear these?? They offered to have them grinded and sent back to the lab…. After waiting a long time to get them. Nowhere in the process did they say they would be that thick. The office manager said its because my eyes have very different prescriptions. Ive been wearing glasses my whole life and ive never had this issue or type of glasses. Got a refund on the hardware but not the billings to my insurance which I will be disputing.

I had a very dehumanizing and upsetting experience here 3 years ago and it has taken me this long to write about it. I came in to get an eye exam after being hospitalized with viral meningitis, which left me with vision loss. The optometrist brought in this black headset and mentioned that it was new to her. She seemed stressed out. She placed the head set on my head and it began to give instructions through the headphones. Meanwhile the optometrist kept talking to me; I could not understand her or the directions from the headset- she should not have been talking while the headset was talking; as a result I missed both. I tried to explain this to her and she snapped at me. I told her I was confused and not feeling well and she walked out of the room. Then an assistant came in and claimed I had yelled at her. I also suffered hearing loss as a result of meningitis, and so I now speak louder than the average person, but I did not yell at the optometrist or even enter the ballpark of yelling at her. And I do wonder if they read my chart and were familiar with my situation. I nearly died in the hospital from viral meningitis a month earlier and this illness was the result of my primary doctor overlooking important protocol. To be then be treated with insensitivity and be the undeserving target of someone's frustration adds insult to injury. Like many people, I now experience distrust and anxiety when I am asked to trust medical practitioners. When I drive by here I feel sick.

Great staff overall! Friendly and knowledgeable doctor, who is willing to take the time to help you understand what your eye health looks like, in clear everyday terms.

Been going here since I moved to the area and love it. The staff is great and as well as the doctor. They carry more higher end glasses which is fun to explore different options. Highly recommend.
