Rock Hill, SC – A gravel, stone, marble company in South Carolina started running out of floor space for their heavy pallets. The company called Pallet Rack World to see if a sales rep could come on site and recommend a pallet rack system that would meet their needs.
Sales rep, Calvin arrived early Tuesday morning to discuss the needs with the customer. The pallets of stone/gravel were also measured to help determine the most efficient rack system for the product.
Heavy duty 8′ wide beams were delivered and installed so that 2) 40” wide pallets could be stored. The pallets weigh up to 3,500lbs so heavy duty beams were used. The teardrop beams used are 8′ long x 5” face and hold 6,820lbs capacity.
The installation crew arrived at 8:30am and had all 14 bays of racking installed by 2:30pm in the afternoon.
