My barber Chris really listened to what I wanted and offered helpful suggestions to make the cut even better. The attention to detail was impressive—sharp lines, smooth fade, and a perfectly shaped beard trim. You can tell he takes real pride in his craft. On top of the great haircut, the customer service was outstanding. Friendly conversation, professional attitude, and no rushing—just quality work from start to finish. Rodica was great! Pall Mall Barbers was great! Hidden gem with an Italian old school barber vibe. Price was super worth it. Big shout out to Rodica! Absolute pleasure to get my haircut from her. I was visiting Manhattan and needed a quick haircut, so I stopped by Palm Mall Barber under Rockefeller Center — and I’m really glad I did. Chris got me in and out fast, listened to exactly what I wanted, and delivered the cut perfectly. Super efficient, professional, and skilled. My son is on a mission to get his haircut in every state we visit. So of course when we went to New York I wanted to find him a unique experience! This place was perfect! My son got his haircut cut by Tenzin and he was so friendly and took lots of time with him! He even gave him some hair wax product! While we were there my husband got his beard trimmed by Oksana! She was also friendly! The atmosphere was nice! It was also a change of pace from the busy streets of New York. Several business men came in for hair cuts while we were there. It was the end of their day and you could see how relaxed they got once they sat in the chair. I actually watched Natalia almost put one fellow to sleep with her steady hands. Overall great experience! A little pricey but got great service and kind of expected that price in New York! I don’t have the before and after pics on my phone. This was so, so disappointing. I’m visiting NYC and wanted to get the luxury beard trim before an event. When I arrived for my appointment, Rodica was aloof and taking phone calls while I waited around even though the place was mostly empty. Then I explained very clearly that I just wanted a bit of clean up and not to take much length off because it will look bad. She proceeded to lop off almost 2 inches of my beard to barely more than stubble (which reveals a big patch I am self conscious about), gave me very irritating razor burn on my neck (another reason I was explicit about not changing the shape very much - I cannot shave that part of my skin), and tried to sell me after the fact on a goofy curled, waxed mustache style that I’ve never liked. I give 2 stars because she was very kind and agreed to not proceed with the straight razor neck shave after noticing my skin irritation, but overall I was devastated that I now have to live with this very bad trim for the rest of my trip and will take well over a month to get back to my old style at home. A good barber listens to what their client wants, not just does a “good” job at whatever they feel like doing. And I paid $80 for this! Quite traumatic, really.

Honestly, this place has been really disappointing. The last time I came, I had an appointment but they canceled it and apologized, asking me to come back another day. I decided to give them another chance, but this visit was even worse. My appointment was for 12:45, and they pushed it to 2 for no reason on my side. When I showed up at 2, the barber, Rodica, said she couldn’t do my haircut because it was a skin fade. I told her I booked the premium service and I’m fine with any style, but she still refused. That’s just not professional at all. I honestly wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Pall Mall barber shop is in NYC, and multiple locations in London. For the New York City location, located in Rockefeller plaza, you have to go INTO THE BUILDING AND DOWN THE STAIRS to the right of the escalator and you'll find them there. It's very easy otherwise to walk around the block wondering where they are. That being said this place is a luxury barber shop that is priced very reasonably. Future King of England Prince William actually had his haircut at one of the London locations. They do quality old school barber trade, and I was very happy with my haircut from Jacob! They do everything from skin fades to beard trims and hair washes and face cleaning etc. It's a great full service barber shop and I would suggest going there if you're in the neighborhood!
