I recently brought my two school-aged boys to Pain Management Clinic in Papatoetoe, Auckland for a Spine Health Assessment, and we were so impressed with the entire experience.
From the moment we walked in, the clinic felt calm, welcoming, and family-friendly. The environment immediately put my kids at ease — they were relaxed and comfortable throughout the session, which as a parent, means everything.
Fazal, the Physiotherapist, was incredibly patient and thorough. He didn’t just “check” their posture — he explained everything in a way that was easy for both me and my boys to understand. He educated us about how daily habits, school bags, sitting posture, and screen time can affect a growing spine. I really appreciated how focused he was on prevention and long-term spine health, not just fixing problems.
What stood out most was how empowering the session felt. It wasn’t scary or medical-heavy — it was educational, supportive, and reassuring. I left feeling confident that I now know how to support my children’s posture and spine development as they grow.
If you’re a parent thinking about whether your child needs a spine check — I highly recommend bringing them to PMC. It’s such a valuable investment in their long-term health.
