Pad Hostel

Exceptional stay! I am really delighted with my experience at this hostel. The staff is incredibly welcoming, attentive, and always available to answer any questions. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The common areas are friendly and perfect for meeting other travelers or relaxing after a busy day. The location is ideal, close to everything you need to see and do. I highly recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a pleasant, convenient, and warm stay. Thanks to the entire team for the exceptional service—I will definitely come back!

I had to book one of their private deluxe rooms because of an emergency change of plans and I was really nervous booking a hostel for just one night. But it was lovely!! The room was spacious and and neat , it was very well situated right next to Moore park and I think it would be great for people to stay in long term if you love a socially bright hostel. I would recommend if you are looking for a short or long stay :)

Came from Brisbane, booked via Hostelworld app for $102 per night. Spent 2 nights in one of their deluxe private rooms, which included a basic bed, power outlets and fan. Very bare bones, which was fine by me. Shower and toilet facilities were shared, which was a slight disappointment as I've stayed at hostel private rooms with private ensuites before, but that's just a minor inconvenience compared to the many pros. Room, bathrooms and common areas were all very clean, exceptional work there! Decent location as well, with lots of good food options nearby with just a short walk to public transport The social aspect of the hostel was also a major highlight, with the common lounge and rooftop terrace being great places to meet foreign backpackers, with some of the longer staying residents making me feel welcome during my brief stay All in all, I definitely enjoyed my stay and highly recommend as a short term, budget accomodations option.

Been here for 3 days and absolutely loving it! Pad Hostel is just perfect. The vibe is incredible, the place looks great, and the location is ideal. The people are super cool, and I couldn't have hoped for a better welcome to Australia. Go for it! A huge thank you to the whole team! 🤩

The place is only good for location and the staff were friendly. But the showers were dirty and the water that stays on the floor is works like a mirror with the person next to you. The charging point in the bedroom was bad and insufficient, the kitchen is so small, there aren't enough seats at night, we had to eat on the floor. I wouldn't come back again. For the price there are better hostels.

This hostel has a great location and very beautiful common areas. The staff is always super friendly and willing to help you with any questions you might have. The common areas are always clean, and I absolutely love using the gorgeous rooftop both during the day and at night. It’s a fairly new hostel and you can really tell — it’s getting more and more beautiful every day. You’ll also love the wine & cheese Fridays; they’re always such a fun time! Even though I’m Latina (pretty much the only one during the two months I stayed), I got the good chance to practice a lot of English here. You’ll never feel alone if you stay here. I originally came planning to stay for just one month but ended up staying longer because I didn’t feel ready to live alone yet hahaha So, 10/10 for this hostel!

The cleanliness is exceptional — everything is always spotless, from the rooms to the common areas.The location right in a strategic spot that makes it easy to reach everything you need. The staff is absolutely fantastic — super friendly, helpful, and always smiling, they really make you feel part of a family. And the terrace… what a gem! It’s the perfect place to relax, meet new people, and enjoy the vibe of the city. If you’re looking for a place that combines comfort, cleanliness, and amazing people — Pad Hostel is definitely the best choice.

I would highly recommend the pad hostel. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and the staff is really friendly and always happy to help. Especially the free breakfast on the rooftop terrace was our favorite. We would love to come back ! :)

After reading the reviews we settled on Pad Hostel and I am so glad we did, there is lots of social events hosted by the hostel which include Pizza making, movie night, games night and wine and cheese night. The hostel is very clean and bathrooms are great. Lucy on reception is very welcoming and friendly and Grace is a great events host. The owner Mike is also very present and welcoming this is a hostel which is very keen for feedback and takes on board any suggestions from people. We were due to leave after three weeks but have extended our stay for another four weeks and will likely stay again. Will definitely be back after I head off travelling. Highly recommend.

I've been there many times and love it. The rooms are great with lot's of options. It's recently renovated and painted immaculately. You can grab a cold beer downstairs when there's a cricket or footy game on too. Lovely staff and a great location. Micheal, Nathan, Bronwyn & Con are a great family. It's a family owned and run business. Not some impersonal corporation as many pubs are. Recommended 👍
