Aaron and his team are truly incredible. My pet is a dog that was a rescued from a puppy mill at 2 years old. To say she needed work was an understatement. We started her in daycare twice a week to get her accustomed to being around other dogs. She then did the 4-week daycare training and she has completely changed. She is confident during our walks, she understands commands, and has become easy to take out around people. Not only did Aaron and his team help our dog, but they helped me understand my pet and read her body language so that I know when to enforce, when to reward, and when to protect. I have also taken advantage of their boarding because I know my pet is in safe, loving hands. I cannot recommend Pack Amo enough!!

Can’t put into words how impressed we are with the progress Timber’s made in six weeks!! Her newfound “calmness” is something that I never thought would be possible in public. Thank you beyond words, Pack AMO. This experience was truly life changing for our growing family. The drive that Aaron has to help dogs and their parents is unmatched.

We love Pack Amo. The staff are very good with our high energy dog. Aaron says our dog has a high "prey drive" -- they run her around and play with her and she comes home tired and happy.

Yesterday we had the pleasure of having Aaron give our family a private dog training session at our home. Aaron exceeded our expectations with the level of training and attention that he gave. Aaron was professional, kind, and very knowledgeable. He put us at ease with our dog's behavior and gave us the confidence and tools to continue working with our dog. We highly recommend Aaron!

Aaron and his team have been taking care of our dogs for a decade. Our quirky Beagle/Lab mix is a hot mess around people, but she loves Aaron and his colleagues. We leave our pup at AMO with full confidence. They monitor dogs closely and know them all by name. Aaron is a gifted trainer, and he continues to attend classes around the country to learn the latest techniques. He is also an educator, and shares his wisdom with his team and clients. We are very grateful that AMO, voted the Press-Citizen's #1 Pet Kennel in Johnson County, is in our area.

My husband and I adopted our dog, Zeus, from Pack AMO a few months ago. Zeus is an 8 year old Coonhound mix that has been in and out of homes his entire life. When I told Aaron I wanted Zeus he warned me how much work it would be, and he wasn't wrong. Zeus has a strong prey drive and a lot of anxiety, which makes him reactive to just about everything. Any time he would see another dog, small animal, or even certain humans, he would lunge, growl, and bark until they were out of sight. After working with Aaron, Zeus has improved tremendously. We can now take him on walks in populated areas and even to the dog park without a huge reaction from him. It took time and effort from everyone that was involved in the training process, but thanks to Aaron and his training techniques, Zeus can have the life he's always deserved. Aaron is passionate about what he does and he deeply cares for every dog, no matter what. His hard work and determination will ensure that your dog can have a better, stress-free life.

Aaron and his AMO Pack team saved my relationship with my huge nervous dog. My pup Robbie and I met Aaron in 2020 – and we both immediately trusted him. Robbie is a rescue and was separated from his mother and siblings too young. As a result, he lacked good manners with other dogs and was bullied and bitten a few times in his first year. When we met Aaron, Robbie was getting bigger and less manageable in his anxiety every day; and I was looking for solutions. Aaron took Robbie for board and train, teaching him confidence and helping him to calm down be less reactive around strange dogs. It saved our relationship! My dog is a pleasure on walks and a darling at home. We continue to use the reliable AMO Pack for daycare and regular boarding too because when Robbie is with AMO, I know he’s safe, happy, and cared for. Aaron is skilled and attentive – and understands the psychology and emotional life of dogs. I don’t know what would have happened without his expert intervention. We owe so much to AMO Pack.

***UPDATED REVIEW as of 3-2-24*** I took our Colorado Mountain Dog Palmer who’s 1.5 and 135lbs went for a long walk circuit in Scheels. I had Palmer by the harness with only my 3rd finger through the ring and a loose grasp of the harness. I was also purposely weaving in and out of aisles, taking sharp turns and steering him with a small tug to the left or right on the “T” of the harness near his neck. Palmer stayed in sync with my pace and by my side the whole visit. If he became distracted I simply tightened my grip on his harness, and he would refocus and look forward and once again syncing with my pace instantly, the distraction forgotten. It was AMAZING!!!! I heard comments as I was walking by patrons “wish my dog behaved and walked like that!” I felt so proud. Pretty sure we were Prancing! Haha! During past visits Palmer would be jumping and barking to get another dog or a human to play. He would go right up to kids and people for pets, uninvited. Prior to attending Pack Amo, Palmer would not have been focused on my body language, and was comfortable and projecting confidence as he was today. This was our first visit to Scheels since attending Pack Amo since October 2023. Palmer kept his head and forward looking with confidence. As I was walking he did not seek our attention by patrons passing unless they asked to met Palmer and only when I stopped. There were four other dogs in Scheels and a ton of people! When we left two other dogs were entering Scheels, that was the only moment Palmer “broke” his form He was excited but did not jump or bark. He did pull a little but not the usual pull my arm off. I had loosened my hold when we were exiting and he had full leash extension. I did a quick correction and Palmer called down and returned to me and focused. We then walked to my parking spot with a LOOSE leash. Palmer was right next to me! You could have knocked me over with a feather! Pack Amo takes multiple 6-10 dogs in a pack the walks are loose leashed! Palmer attends Pack Amo daycare once a week, and occasionally twice a week in the cold months. What initially attracted me to Pack Amo is the pick Palmer up at our house!! When he’s dropped off Palmer is worn out and happy! He then sleeps for 20+hrs! Hahaha!! BTW-we cannot say anything that’s similar to “Pack” or “Amo” on a day he isn’t attending PackAmo or he will instantly head to the front window howling/whining looking for his ride and Carson. Heehee. Aaron and his crew are great!! I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Pack Amo! Such an awesome daycare for our Colorado Mountain Dog -Palmer. Not to mention Door to Door service- he gets picked up at 9am and Dropped back off at 3’ish. They do multiple FB Reels throughout the day and it’s fun to see all the dogs interacting and going on Pack walks- with zero pulling - I might add!

I sent my 4 year old fur baby for behavioral training & I’m so impressed and proud of his progress. His training went really well and he is such a happy pup since being home. He learned new commands and we learned how to better communicate and train him. He is much more confident around other dogs and his recall is great. Aaron updated me every few days with videos explaining what they were working on that day. Max loves aaron and ran right up to him at our follow up meeting. 10/10 worth the money. The staff was amazing with my baby & I’m happy to have a place I trust to board him in the future if needed!

I cannot recommend Pack AMO enough. I brought Aaron an insecure but overly stimulated and reactive pup. Although Nacho loves the dog park we could not go without both of us stressing out. Nacho would be leash, fence, gate, and dog reactive. Name anything and he would react. He is by no means an aggressive dog, he just didn’t know how to manage his emotions and they would get the best of him. After doing a day-and-train program with Aaron of 4 days/week for 4 weeks, Nacho is now at the happiest he could be. He still notices and acknowledges his surroundings but he now carries on. Nacho knows I am there to protect and advocate for him putting him at ease. I honestly cannot believe the transformation. Aaron’s day-and-train program offered me an affordable option to train my pup. Nacho and I will continue to train and practice for the rest of our time but the credit goes to Aaron. He helped us get where we are now and I couldn’t be more thankful. Might I add, as of this post 3/26/2025, all training programs are 30% off until April 1st!! ALSO, I used Pack AMO to board Nacho for a week and couldn’t be happier. Seeing daily updates on their insta story put my mind at ease. I knew he was getting the best care and all the loving.
