Gary will discuss the approach to listening that is used on their helpline, and demonstrate how you can use this in your personal and working life to improve your listening skills.
It is often said that the biggest communication problem is that we do not listen to understand, but to respond.
We will explore why this is, as well as discussing what the difference is between hearing and listening, and between listening and active listening.
