A beautiful and calming place for walks, contemplation, and for those so inclined, prayer and worship. The gardens are often pretty empty during weekdays; so if you need a place to clear your mind and have some solitude, this is it. Ample parking and paths are totally accessible for walkers and wheelchairs. Plenty of seating (mostly stone benches). No charge for admission, but the gardens really need donations for their upkeep — donation box at the entrance and in the two small chapels on the paths.

Just love the Christmas lights and all of the beautiful displays are at the shrine. The workers will help you park your car in the parking lot and answer any of the questions you may have. The walk around is not stressful and the music played is calming. This is not like a busy affair it is meant to be serene and peaceful. Some people do not understand how to behave, it is not a theme park. Leave them at home.

Went to see the lights. Lovely display! Great walk. People were friendly. Cookies, doughnuts, hot chocolate, tea, and coffee offered for donation. Worth the trip.

Beautiful lights & music. A fun family holiday treat. We love to stroll around looking at the lights & end the night with some hot cocoa and a trip to the gift shop. A Christmas tradition for us for many years!

Beautiful, welcoming, and spiritual shrine. It's always a pleasant visit. Helpful attendants. Nice gift shop. I like to go there for reconciliation. Even during Advent and Christmas time when there are more people there to see the lights, it's well managed. I've not seen troublesome congestion or delays. They have many programs and do a lot to help the needy.

Took a trip to visit my mom and she wanted to share her favorite place with us. It's a beautiful place to visit that somehow is very calming and relaxing. I though it was neat that they had large rocks placed in the form of a giant rosary bead necklace.

Belief faith and solitude go hand in hand. Yes the place offers a lot of peace. Walk out look around and find the cross section of a three thousand old tree.
