Dr. Kevin Hockersmith is awesome! I was recommended to him by a friend and I’m pretty picky with chiropractors so I was very relieved when I found him. He checked all the boxes! He also helped my son out when he was hit by a car and he used to be afraid of adjustments but he wasn’t with Dr. H. I highly recommend him. The massages are great there as well. I tried out the Microcurrent Therapy that he has there now and it’s amazing! I noticed the results right away and was able to move my neck way easier right after.

I visited this office following an injury that happened at the gym. Dr Hockersmith was not interested in hearing anything about how it happened but more interested in immediately trying to sell me how many adjustments he thought it would take to improve. I continually asked questions regarding expectations for timelines for improvement and was always met with a “every body is different. I don’t know”. I returned daily for 5 days and each visit felt rushed and no time for questions or follow up or what the long term looks like except that dumb bells and kettlebells are bad and those are the number one injuries he sees and why he doesn’t recommend them. On day 5 I received a second opinion with my primary care who took time to sit down and explain what he believed to be going on and where we go from here. He issued a course of steroids which greatly helped the lingering pain. Fast forward 3 weeks and I’m still having some mild issues so I sought out a highly recommended chiropractor among the gym community and the difference was night and day. He took the time to explain everything from start to finish. He was invested in how the injury happened and what the long term looks like. He was invested in ME as a patient and not just another money sign for his business. If you want to understand your injury long term and work towards it never happening again I highly recommend seeking care elsewhere.

This was my first experience ever with a chiropractor and I walked away physically feeling some relief in my problem area (lower back/hips) but also enraged with the treatment I received. Completely unprofessional and inappropriate to say the least. I had done some research before hand so I could know what to expect and how I could best advocate for myself. After the research I had done I knew I would feel less anxious and at ease if I didn't do any neck manipulation seeing as this was my very first appointment to a chiropractor and that my pain was in my lower back and hips I thought from the research I had done that that wouldn't be a completely unreasonable request. When I came to the office he was very showboaty and wanted me to know all the great work hes done over the years. Very chatty. He looked over the form I filled out and saw where my problem area was then asked me to do a few things to access my needs. He said I would need a neck adjustment and I politely told him I didn't feel comfortable yet with doing a neck adjustment and that I understand that might be an odd request but I just would feel more comfortable not doing that today. He immediately got defensive and said "why?" "What makes you so concerned?" "Would it help if I informed you Ive never hurt anyone." One of the things I had listened to while researching was a spinal surgeontalking about that for lower back pain neck manipulation is really unnecessary and that in some cases it can cause more damage, or even life altering damage and that the risk is in his opinion not worth it. Dr. Hokersmiths response to that was "Oh, a spinal surgeon isn't a chiropractor he doesn't know what he's talking about." I reiterated that although that maybe true, I would feel more COMFORTABLE if we didn't do it today. Also I didn't mention this then but I also have heard about recent studies showing that neck cracking can increase your likleyhood of stroke. So I PERSONALLY just wanted to avoid it, especially since it was my first time ever going to a chiropractor and I was nervous! He then proceeded with the exam, seemingly annoyed that I was taking control and having autonomy over my own body and made some comments to try and make me feel stupid for not agreeing to a neck adjustment. It was awkward but what was worse was he asked again if maybe he could do an adjustment on the lower segment of my neck, before I had a chance to answer he got a phone call (he had gotten 2 during the appointment) he answered it, and once he got off the phone he asked me to lay back down. When I did, he did the neck adjustment and said "now that wasn't so bad now was it." That literally was not the point. It was about me feeling comfortable and at ease. Me rejecting a neck adjustment had nothing to do with you Dr. Hokersmith and everything to do with me feeling comfortable. I was anxious about getting a neck adjustment and you just did it any ways after I had voiced multiple times my not wanting it. INAPPROPRIATE. I said everything he wanted to hear after that and smiled along as he continued to stroke his own ego so I could just get out of there. Dr. Hockersmith do better. If you want a chiropractor who will just do chiropractic adjustment and honestly do them probably just fine he's your guy. If you want to have autonomy over your own body, or ask questions, or have a two way dialoge about your care, don't go here. He's not a bad chiropractor just a bad person. Had he listened to me and done as I had asked multiple times and hadn't made me feel like an idiot. I probably would be going back. But that bridge is burned.

I was looking for someone that had a spinal decompression machine that was affordable and skilled. I was feeling quite hopeless when I decided to ask AI and AI researched and said he would be good fit. AI WAS RIGHT! I was so happy to find doctor Hockersmith. He’s been helping me get my spine back to pain free. I would recommend him to anyone.

Hockersmith is amazing. I came in at my Witt’s end with severe neck pain. Not only does his dad jokes amaze but he took time and patience to help me. You can’t go one time and expect miracles although I’m sure it’s happened. I went four times a week for over a month and felt the love and compassion he offers. I can’t recommend him enough.

I’ve been to many chiropractors over the years, and my visit with Mr. Hockersmith was by far the worst. I left the office in more pain than when I arrived, and the discomfort has lingered ever since. Mr. Hockersmith came across as rushed and heavy-handed. His approach felt aggressive rather than careful or therapeutic. What should have been a routine adjustment turned into a painful experience that I genuinely regret. The overall atmosphere of the office didn’t inspire confidence either—it just didn’t feel professional or well-maintained. If you’re looking for, skilled chiropractic care, I strongly suggest going somewhere else. I would never return to this clinic or recommend it to anyone.

FIND ANYWHERE ELSE! I have been to multiple chiropractors over the years for a variety of things. Being a weekend when most chiropractors aren’t open, I looked for a last minute alternative. I have never been treated as poorly as I was by Hockersmith. He verbally quoted $40 for a first time adjustment, but had a card saying first time adjustment for $29, and then his website saying the same thing for $25. Multiple price points for the same thing is confusing, so I approached him about it after paperwork. He quickly became snarky and started making remarks about how I would need all this extra treatment which constituted the $40 price point. (He hadn’t even taken me back to be adjusted/fully figured out my issues). As I walked down the hall to the adjustment room, he continued to make sardonic comments behind my back, so I turned around and walked out instead. He attempted some pathetically unthought and snide questions/remarks as I ignored him on my way out. It’s interesting to see as every other chiropractor I’ve seen can do without the poor attitude and need to make their clients feel like crap. Talk about the “new client special”! Also, the waiting room is super gross. Heavy dirt and grime on the couches/old chairs. Staining on the walls. The office just doesn’t resonate cleanliness. Overall, he’s the type of guy that let basic anatomy go to his head and gives bandaid/one-size-fits-all solutions to every client, regardless of their issue. As many others have said: unprofessional, prideful, passive aggressive, and all about the money rather than genuine care.

Absolutely terrible experience. The office felt chaotic and unprofessional, and the chiropractor barely spoke to me before doing a rushed adjustment. I left feeling worse than when I arrived. No real explanation, no care, just in and out like a factory. Total waste of time and money. I would not trust them with my health again.

Friendly, fun, and straightforward. Hockersmith has done more to alleviate my lower back pain than the spinal rehab centers that I spent months in. I also get 8 visits here, for the price of 2-3 at the clinics I have visited. For what it's worth, my advice is go here first.
