Orca Moving & Storage

Great experience using Orca Moving for our move from the Lower Mainland to Victoria. It was a bit of a complicated move because we needed our stuff picked up from two locations and then stored for several days in between moving out and moving into the new house on the island. From start to finish, David responded to my questions quickly and was accommodating to everything I needed. They kept to the quoted amount, arrived exactly on time and the movers were careful, efficient and really nice. I would absolutely recommend them.

We had a townhome move from Vancouver to the Island for a family of 4. Dave and his crew were very quick, professional, and excellent to deal with. The island move had a hard deadline, as the ferries of late have been problematic. Orca moving handled it extremely well, and made the ferry perfectly. The unloading portion was also equally as well executed. We would recommend Orca Moving!

As someone who has had a terrible experience with moving companies in the past, let me say that Dave and his team at Orca have restored my faith! From getting a quote, to scheduling the moving date and time and all the details, to renting totes, to the cost of the service...everything went incredibly smoothly! I contacted Dave at Orca well in advance of my move date for availability and pricing. His response was quick, and after providing a few details gave a very reasonable quote, and we scheduled a date. Fast forward to moving day, the truck arrived on time, and despite the rain the movers were friendly the entire time. I cannot express how amazing Dave and his crew are. Him and his team are friendly, professional and extremely hard working. They moved us from our 1 bedroom, along with extra furniture from my family's home, to our 4 floor townhouse in an incredibly efficient and careful manner. I could not believe how fast they worked and despite all the stairs, they never seemed to take a break, even just to catch their breath. The fact that they dont unnecessarily wrap items, not only saves time but is environmentally friendly. To top it all off, nothing was damaged or made dirty.
