Full Render Transformation – Two Days of Full Graft
The last two days were all about making the most of the good weather, putting the graft in, and delivering a finish we were genuinely proud of.
This property had old, failing render that was leaking and breaking away, which had already started causing damp internally. The only proper solution was a complete knock-off of all loose and defective render, taking everything back to a sound base before starting again the right way.
Once fully prepared, the walls were base coated throughout to ensure strength, adhesion, and long-term durability. The final finish chosen was Marble White with subtle glitter flecks, which looks clean and modern in normal light and really comes alive when the sun hits it. A high-end finish that lifts the whole property.
To complete the transformation, the soffits and boards were painted in Zinsser satin black, giving a sharp contrast against the fresh render and a crisp, modern look.
It was two busy days of full-on work, but seeing the final result — and the smiles at the end — made it well worth it. From failing render and damp issues to a smart, weatherproof exterior built to last.
