Absolutely love the shop! It’s a great atmosphere and everyone is really friendly. Courtney has done all of my tattoos and she is always blowing away my expectations. The process is always super easy and straight forward. Love her style and the fun twist she’s brought to all the ideas.

My wife and I absolutely love this place! We drive almost an hour to get our ink at Once in a Blue Moon. The staff is friendly, and the shop is super clean. They have some ultra talented artists, but my go-to is Kerry Brown. Kerry is a great artist and just a fun guy to hang out with while you are getting your work done. I have never walked into the shop without being greeted with a smiling, warm welcome. I can't recommend Once in a Blue Moon enough!!!!

Kate was amazing for our matching mother daughter tattoos! She brought our idea to life. We didn’t even want any changes to her first design, it was so beautifully done. Once in a Blue Moon was spotless, aesthetically pleasing, and filled with talented artists. Totally recommend Kate, she is so kind and seriously skilled. I recently had the pleasure of meeting Kyle. I took my daughter to get pierced by Kyle, and I can’t recommend her enough! She is incredibly knowledgeable and takes the time to explain every step of the process. Her patience and accommodating nature make the entire experience comfortable and stress-free. Plus, the titty stress ball she provides is a fun and unique touch that adds a bit of humor to the session. If you’re looking for a skilled and personable piercer, Kyle is definitely the one to go to!

Really nice shop. Very clean. Friendly staff. Kate did a fantastic job on my tattoo. It was a lot of fun working with her on the design and seeing what she came up with. This was my first tattoo and the whole experience was very enjoyable. I’ll be back for sure.

Once in a Blue Moon Tattoo provided an exceptional experience for me. I went in to see what could be done to cover an old tattoo that was never fully removed after several laser treatments at another business and walked out with a masterpiece created by Brianna. The old tattoo was a Pisces zodiac sign encased in a circular border. The border never fully went away. The new tattoo is a mermaid representing an Aquarius water bearer to mark the birth of my daughter. Brianna did such an amazing job taking the initial image my daughter found and made a unique design to fit my lower leg. The entire process took about 4 1/2 hours finishing up with the shading. I binged watch old episodes of Hawaii 5-0 during the process. But it was such a wonderful experience getting to know Brianna and Heather. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone and the entire staff that I saw was friendly and helpful. The first photo is the remnants of the old tattoo and the second photo is the finished design! You can’t see anything from the old remnants! Thanks again Brianna! Update: 4 months later, I got another tattoo by the extremely talented Brianna! This is a dragon tattoo on the other leg.

Lacey was amazing, she is extremely talented and made me feel very comfortable during my season getting tattooed by her. The place is super clean and nicely decorated. I am from Florida and I would drive up 8 hours again just to get tattooed by her again. They also had a really good selection of candy. Thank you to Lacey again and the pretty front desk girl! I was referred to Once in a Blue Moon by a local mom's group online. I was looking to replace my nose ring, and was trying to find some jewelry that was good quality. Kyle help guide me in what jewelry would work best for my piercing. Kyle provided information about aftercare in more detail than I have previously been given at other shops. I was extremely please by the customer service and will definitely return. Of note, the shop had some beautiful artwork on display by an artist for sale.

I have to tell you about the most AMAZING tattoo artist at Once In A Blue Moon Tattoo, COURTNEY. After getting inked all over the Northeast Metro Atlanta Area by some of the most experienced shop owner/artists out there, I’ve settled on Courtney as my go-to and have had 4 beautiful pieces done by her that have EXCEEDED my expectations. Courtney is young, like maybe 23. But, her dad started teaching her the craft when she was 3. I believe Courtney does every type of tattoo, except Realism. IMO, her work is on the same level of the best artists in Atlanta that have been tattooing for 20 years or longer. Because she’s young, her rates are very reasonable. And, not only is she gifted in the technical side of tattooing, but her creativity and eye for design are so fantastic that I don’t give her photos of a tattoo I would like. Instead, I just ask her to Google images of the subject and go with the great designs she comes up with. The Ohi’a Lehua flower from Hawaii tattoo, pictured here, was my latest piece designed and inked by Courtney. I am not a friend or relative of Courtney; just a heavily tattooed 61 year-old, who thinks you’ll love her work as much as I do!!
