We had On Track out to fix a broken spring on our garage door. We were initially given an estimate of $300-$400. When the technician came out, my husband was told that the spring we had needed to be completely replaced because they did not have parts. He also had to assist the technician with lifting the garage door, which is fine, but would have been an issue if I had been present for the repair instead of my husband. We ended up being charged close to $600, and were also charged a processing fee for a debit card payment-which we were not told about ahead of time. After the technician left, we realized that the sensors were broken as a result of the work that had been done.
We contacted On Track and they said they would waive the trip fee for someone to come out and repair the sensors that they broke, but they would still charge us for the repair, and $60 for every 30 minutes they were here. Terrible customer service, terrible communication, and shoddy work. Do not recommend, if I could give 0 stars I would have .
As a response to the below "apology" from the owner, my husband said that there was nothing wrong with the sensors until the technician started doing the repair on the spring, so the sensors were clearly damaged as a result of whatever was done. It should also be noted that On Track replaced the sensors in question in 2018, which after a quick Google search should supposedly last 10-15 years, so what does this say about the longevity of the repair and product that they provide? We will not ever use this company in the future, it's clear that there has been no attempt to make this right on their part.
