As temperatures drop, it's time to break out your tire pressure gauge! The inflation pressure in tires generally drops by 1 to 2 psi for every 10 degrees the temperature lowers. It's important that you test your tire pressure while your tires are cool, to get an accurate reading. Fill them to your tire manufacturer's recommended psi while they are still cool if possible!
Driving on tires with low tire pressure can affect more than just the tires themselves, so it's important to properly care for them! Our tire experts are always here to help, if you still have questions, or don't want to go to the effort of checking, and filling them yourself!
