MEET CHELSEA…
I became a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist after completing my bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Science and my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Oklahoma State University. It is an incredible honor and privilege to walk alongside clients as they navigate making sense of their story and the hurt and difficulties they are experiencing.
I work from a systemic, holistic, and client-centered approach, meaning that my goal is to help clients address the root issues keeping them stuck as well as empowering them with the tools to live a healthier, more fulling life.
I have experience working with couples, individuals, and families both in crisis situations and in ordinary difficulties that become unmanageable. I spent many years collaborating with local police, school, and health providers, helping those experiencing severe mental health issues and those in crisis situations. I also have experience working with young adults in a university setting, treating a wide variety of concerns.
My areas of interest include premarital counseling, conflict and communication resolution, depression, anxiety, stress management, issues of self-worth, family of origin dynamics, and issues of spirituality.
My goal is to create a safe place for clients in which they feel accepted, understood, and encouraged. I look forward to walking alongside you in your journey towards growth and healing!
