Ordered their Tonkotsu ramen and popcorn karaage chicken. I'd say 7 out of 10. Im very strict reviewing Ramen since a lot of my family members used to work as a ramen chef and I been to many ramen spots in LA and Washington. Their broth base taste slightly bland and not as creamy as I thought. Their ultra spicy paste is solid but quite expensive for a small little paste of it. My spice tolerance is very high and their spicy paste is just right at 5 out of 10 spiciness level. It feels as if they use angel hair type of noodle, very thin and soft, which I really like. Their popcorn chicken karaage breading is okay, nothing too fancy. Service is almost non existant. I asked the young lady if they got any wifi I could use since I just got here from Washington and Tmobile is really bad but she said she does not know the password. Fair. No water served at all either. You put the dishes back to a basket they prep for you. The young lady never came up to you to ask if everything was good either. She was just on the phone call with someone almost the entire time and went back inside, no one else was outside until a new customer showed up and a different lady came up to greet them. I shouldve given no tips tbh but it is what it is. Would I come back? Maybe, in the far future. But only to go. Oh they charge $1.50 for to go. Pricing is alright. Definitely cannot compare this to anything like Tatsu ramen, Tsujita or Kizuki. It's 3.5 out of 5 at best. People who give 5 out of 5 for their ramen really have never tasted other ramen in the West Coast.

We tried the spicy beef buns, Takayuki (octopus balls), and chicken karage. No ramen. All the food tasted great. Small counter-service place located near a fuel depot. Worthwhile to visit and have lunch.

We ordered two traditional ramen. Both were very flavorful and plentiful. Price margins are not bad either. Location is tucked back behind the industrial railroad area, but it actually makes for a quiet Cove to enjoy lunch.

Tonkotsu ramen is probably the one of the best ramen I had in US, thin but medium firm noodles with rich soup base, perfect boiled egg with super soft chashu. I almost finish all the soup! I paired the vegetables gyoza and kombucha set, it turned out to very tasty too. Edamame’s portion is way bigger than the normal appetizer based on its price. Really love this gem restaurant, will visit again when I’m in Fairbanks.

Ordered their Ramen by Doordash last night. It was the smallest serving ever and absolutely disgusting.🤮 I could have gotten something better if I spent $2 at the convenient store let alone the $25 they chanrged me for slop. Never again! How people say this place is good certainly escapes my comprehension.

The food was top tier. The Kombucha was mind shattering. The Apple Crisp was so smooth and had no bite to it. I had to get the 64oz of it ($21) aka “The Guzzler” to take home. 😅 I got the vegetarian tan tan ramen and they did such a great job with the tofu textures. I thought it was beef and it honestly was just tofu. It was so flavorful and had the perfect amount of spice. (Don’t get it if you aren’t a glutton for spicy punishment 😏😏) They are masterful in that kitchen 👏🏾👏🏾

Nice little spot for ramen. Clean, quiet bar stools to eat or option for carry out, dine outside tent. I ordered the miso ramen, was not quite hot like it sat for a bit but it was ok. The potstickers were good. Liked the flavor. They also sell kombucha in many great flavors. Will go there again and make sure my ramen is hot and not warm.

Hidden gem of Fairbanks! I've gone to their place since their initial open, and their menu has widen but also lost some really good tasty treats (most of their bakery goods are no longer offered!) But their food selection is still on point! Their Ramen and bao buns are my ultimate fave. If you want the most authentic ramen locally, this is your place. The seating is limited and bar style, very fitting for a single person or duo visit, less accommodating for large groups. Also their newer location is not in a high traffic area and somewhat hidden.

Best ramen in Fairbanks, Alaska. The soup is super delicious, doesn’t feel as if I am in Alaska. But it takes me back to ramen shop in Hokkaido. Dont forget to order the gyoza. It worths walking 10 mins under heavy snow to this secluded spot. At first I thought it was a closed parking spot. But then I saw the OPEN signage on the seemed desserted building. It is definitely an underated review in google. It should have moreeee reviews than this. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🩷🩷❤️❤️ it

I went for lunch and ordered the black garlic tonkotsu special ramen with a gyoza set. I wouldn’t say the food was bad, but I also wasn’t a big fan. The noodles were not very tender, almost an al dente quality. The pork was very fatty, the egg had an almost rubbery appearance and texture. Nothing felt particularly fresh and the gyoza was somewhat soggy and lacked the umami flavor I was craving. I’ll disclaim that I’m not an expert on Japanese cuisine, but I really wanted to like this place. I’ve had ramen in Tokyo and Kami Ramen in Anchorage. I didn’t try any of the deserts, so can’t really comment there. The staff seemed nice and there is an outdoor seating area. However, the ramen wasn’t my favorite and I probably wouldn’t go back myself, and if I did I’d probably opt for a different dish.
