I have to give a full throated endorsement for Ohio radon mitigation LLC. I am a realtor and have set up radon contractors for numerous clients over the years, but needed my own home done. I reached out to Ohio radon mitigation, initially to test and once we validated the problem, they quickly provided me a proposed solution. They also worked very closely with me and some uniqueness of my home to come up with both the best aesthetic and functioning location. Finally, the installation technician was competent and minimized his overall presence during the entire installation. Will recommend them to my clients in the future!

I was very happy that I chose Ohio Radon Mitigation to get our radon levels lowered. Jodi was very professional the whole way through and Doug did a real nice clean job in our crawl space. I'll admit, I'm very meticulous when it comes to house projects and they did everything exactly how I asked (where to run the PVC, how high to take the plastic sheeting, inspection hole on the sump pump etc.). I highly recommend Ohio Radon Mitigation LLC to install a system that reduced our high Radon test numbers in the 60’s to below the acceptable number of 4. The Radon gas is sucked from beneath the basement floor, through the garage and the attic, and out the roof vent ( see photos). My stress level has been greatly reduced. I’m satisfied as well as relieved.

Although many companies focus on making money, Ohio Radon Mitigation places customer service at the forefront of their priorities. I had to replace the sump pump that is installed inside a sealed crock, which is part of my radon mitigation system. I was concerned about disturbing the radon system when I opened the crock. After I replaced the pump, Jodi provided a detailed explanation of the procedures required to properly seal the crock. What would typically have required an on-site service visit was instead resolved through a complimentary phone consultation. I will absolutely be contacting Ohio Radon Mitigation for any future radon needs.

This radon remediation company is truly head and shoulders above the rest. They are state of the art in their understanding of radon remediation, highly knowledgeable, well trained, and every single employee is hardworking and upbeat. My basement is 1800 square ft with two crawl spaces, and the house was built straight on clay with no tile or gravel. Radon number was over 100. I made the mistake and first went with a different company my realtor recommended, and he couldn't get it below 25. I actually had to call in Ohio Radon Remediation to clean up the disastrous job we were left with (noncompliant with Dept of Health requirements!). Ohio Radon Remediation sent a technician out and he diagnosed all the problems and went ahead and fixed them right then and there. Followup results? Perfect remediation. All it took was knowing how to deal with remediation the proper way! Please don't go with anyone else, choose Ohio Radon Remediation. They carefully diagnose and remediate. The other company had done over 1500 remediations, including on clay, and didn't even have the DOH approved measuring machine(see photo). He hadn't put dampeners in the crawl space pipes and that the pipes were going into thin air and creating zero suction at the end of our 1800 square foot basement. The original failed job was remediated successfully with no new equipment but with corrected installation and five hours of work done cheerfully and accurately. Ohio Radon Remediation is amazing!! The photos show the DOH radon measuring machine, the diagnostic machine, the pressure achieved, and the stupid place the pipe was originally put, not in the soil at all. Thank goodness for Ohio Radon Remediation! They saved my bacon!! And for a fraction of the price. Go with them and you'll know it's done right.

Great job. Jodi explains everything. My crawl space and basement were both mitigated. I should have done this sooner. My basement has reduced humidity and radon level dropped to safe levels almost immediately when the system was turned on . I was around 10 average now 0.6 or less. Price was right, workmanship was perfect using latest standard to cover sump pump and exhaust pipe was routed inside garage, so no big pipe on outside of house! Looks great. Tom L 4-14-25
