Today we celebrate 50 years of Earth Day! The observance was created in the U.S. by late former Democratic Wisconsin Senator Gaylord Nelson to increase public awareness of environmental issues. By 1990, Earth Day had gone global, mobilizing millions of people in more than 140 countries to take up environmental issues and turn them into a worldwide movement.
Keeping with the spirit of the observance, Ohio Radon Mitigation LLC encourages Ohioans to learn more about the potential dangers of radon exposure and the various ways environmental factors play a role in one’s health.
