Ocean Freaks World - Surf School Tenerife

Just another surfing school.... NOT REALLY! Instructors Andrej and Tomek did fenomenal coaching 😄. After 15 minutes we all ride waves. Professional, good equipment and suitable for larger groups. P.S. They help alot by pushing you on to the wave, so you can rest a little bit 😆.

My group was trained by Coach Fredi. He’s an excellent instructor and genuinely a great person. His classes have an easy, comfortable vibe, yet he always keeps a strong focus on technique and safety. It’s clear that he truly cares about each student’s progress — he spots the small details, helps fix mistakes, and does it all calmly, clearly, and in a friendly way. I recommend him to anyone who wants to learn surfing with someone who is genuinely involved in the process and knows how to inspire.

I enjoyed my surfing lesson a lot. The staff is super nice and accommodating. Lessons are well structured and you spend plenty of time in the ocean. Surfing is a weather dependent sport, so it might be advisable to not book the lesson for the last day of your vacation. That way you can find an alternative day if the weather doesn't play ball.

My girlfriend and I tried surfing for the first time in Ocean Freaks school and had an excellent experience back in May this year. Our coach was Dan, he found the right approach right away and was very supportive during all our lessons. We had couple of private lessons and then group lessons with Flo. Already on the second lesson we were able to surf green waves, and got all the basics how to select the right wave and positioning. Of course it took some time to get some experience about pop up, but eventually we started catching more and more waves. The equipment was perfect, swimsuit conditions were good, they had a wide range of different surf boards, so they will definitely select the right one for you. Also they provide reef shoes so it is comfortable to get in the water. The location is excellent, just 3-5 minutes walk from the surf spot. Thank you Dan and Flo for excellent experience!

I want to note the incredibly high level of qualification of the instructors of this surf school, the excellent quality of the boards. The school has a convenient location right in front of the training spot with quality waves ideal for beginners. Lovely and friendly people around. We took an introductory surf lesson and will definitely be back.

Had a really great experience with Ocean Freaks! :) Very nice welcoming vibe, good food, coffee and smoothies! I had three private classes with Peter and made a great progress after a long break from surfing. Special thanks to Marina, who has been very understanding and accommodating to my unfortunate changes in circumstances throughout the week.

Learning to surf with Andrei was absolutely amazing! 🌊 He’s super attentive, explains everything clearly, and instantly makes you feel safe and confident in the water. What I loved most is how he focuses on each person’s individual needs and gives spot-on tips that really help you improve quickly. He’s the perfect instructor for beginners – I couldn’t recommend him more highly and would book with him again anytime! 🤙
