Oak Hill completed a primary suite addition above our garage and completely redid our kitchen to make the house more open and functional in 2024. Thomas and Nick were fair and honest throughout the entire process. We interviewed 5 companies and couldn't be happier with our decision to pick Oak Hill. They were open to all of our ideas, no matter how crazy! The few issues we had, their response was always "We'll make it right". We ended up with our dream home and the addition flows seamlessly with the preexisting structure. We can't recommend them enough!

My wife and I contracted with Nick and Thomas Vitale of Oak Hill Building and Remodeling to transform the first floor of our home from a 1980's style to a fresh, modern open floor plan design. From start to finish, Nick and Thomas were totally professional and responsive. They listened to what we wanted and then designed and renovated the entire first floor of the house. We hired Oak Hill Building to add on to our garage for a workshop and change our existing patio/deck into a screened in porch. From start to finish, Nick & Thomas and their team were great to work with. The site was cleaned daily, they walked us thru how the inspections went and provided details on what was being reviewed, they communicated schedules and were always responsive. We have been enjoying the new workshop space and the screened in porch!

My husband and I are very pleased with our new “grandparent suite” in our daughter and son-in-law’s walk-out basement. They took our vision and made it a reality. Thomas and Nick’s crew were a pleasure. Their workmanship was excellent and they were quick to make any adjustments or modifications as needed. They listened to our requests and followed through.

My husband and I decided to completely finish our basement (we had a partial done with the original builder). In starting the process, we went on Angi’s list and also spoke with neighbors and friends before choosing Oakhill Building from a few other contractors. One of our neighbors used them for two projects and were very happy with them. From the beginning, we were so impressed. One of the contractors we interviewed wanted to rip out our existing ceiling (adding so much $ to the cost) for no reason. Another asked if we wanted to have an official inspection (so that was a red flag). We had a specific idea in mind following the style of our home and they came through with flying colors. We showed them pictures and ideas and they put it together for us. They installed a beautiful full bar with a stone back splash, created a wine nook from a computer nook with a stone back splash, installed a stone wall in main area with an electric fireplace and finished our workout room. Tom and Nick Vitalie were so easy to work with; incredibly knowledgeable and very professional as well as honest. They were very in tune to detail and nothing was done without perfection. If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would. We are so happy with our finished basement. It is beautiful. I highly recommend Oakhill Building. You will be more than satisfied.

We contacted Oak Hill before we knew what we were ready to do for an addition on our house and they helped us with the whole process, working with the same people the whole time from initial design until final completion. We settled on adding 6' to our living room and a breakfast nook. Their design was better than anticipated and they were great to work with throughout the process. They were done ahead of schedule and stayed on budget. The whole time they were accommodating of making our house livable and kept us informed of the schedule. The transition from existing space to new space is virtually unnoticeable and our friends are shocked at how the addition improved our living space and how well it turned out.

The team at Oak Hill (Nick and Thomas) encouraged us to be as involved in the project design and development as we wanted to be, and were a great team to collaborate with throughout all aspects of our project. My wife and I were looking for a contractor to remodel our basement and fix a major slope in our upstairs bedroom. A neighbor (who also remodeled their basement) strongly recommended we contact Oak Hill after having a great experience with them. After speaking with Thomas and Nick, it was clear that they knew their tradecraft and would be good partners throughout the process. They were excellent in helping us design our layout and clearly define the overall scope of work. Throughout the effort, they stuck to the scope and completed the project within budget. I never once thought that I was being taken advantage of as has been the case with other contractors. The entire Oak Hill team did excellent work and were both courteous and respectful of our house and family. They really cared about the work they did and how it impacted us.
