Kindest vet I’ve ever gone to. I walked in (in shambles) for my cat that has a swollen infected eye. They saw him and took such good care of him. The way they treated my little Chicken helped calm my anxiety immensely. They’re affordable as well. I will be bringing Chicken back as well as our Dog, Pepper. My mom also plans to bring her cats as well! (Hadiyah!) me, Andrew and chicken are so grateful. Oh also Thank you so much to the kind and patient receptionists! You guys set such a great tone.

Incredibly kind, attentive and loving staff from receptionist to doctor and all the vet techs. They helped us through our pup's final moments and even through my own grief I couldn't help but appreciate how amazing they were. When so many other vets seem more concerned with profit, these folks are clearly here to help animals above all else. Five stars just aren't enough.

Overall had a great experience at this facility. Only reason my review isn’t a 5 star is because of the long wait times and because the medicine they gave us for our cat wasn’t enough for his course of treatment. I will have to go back and get some more. Other than that the staff was friendly and my cat did start to feel better after taking the medication they suggested.

I had been going to this Vet for a while, but the lady working the front desk was rude to me, by not wanting to welcome me to the facility by purposely not speaking to me, but will speak to the dog, (on more than one occasion), therefore I suggested that maybe she should work from home, because when you are in the customer service business and you are the face representing the company, EVERYONE should be treated equally and fairly, and instead of having a conversation with the rude person their preference was to loose a paying customer with 3 ways they can get paid. The dogs don't talk, people do. It was easier for the vet Kirkman to try and correct the response rather than the behavior. The society we live in today. Why don't we all just be rude and gain a pass! You did me a favor by showing your true colors. I found a new vet who offers great customer service for me and my personal and is culturally unbiased! RESPONSE: She was the only one disrespectful, each time. Maybe she didn't get the employee handbook about what the standard should be, for EVERY customer.

Could never give Oak Heart anything but 5 stars. Both of my boys, Eli & Pete, had been going there for annuals but the real review comes from having to say goodbye to my boy Eli. Everyone was so compassionate, kind, the ladies that helped me say goodbye were so amazing. 13 years could never have been enough time, but he was sent off with the love and all the treats he deserved. The process was explained, they monitored but didn’t rush me at all. It was as good of an experience as you CAN have in a moment like that. Thank you.

We had to put our sweet girl Isabel down after a lengthy cancer bout. The staff was beyond helpful, kind, accommodating, patient, empathetic, and amazing. They made the experience as painless and quick as possible and we cannot sing their praises enough.

So grateful for this vet! I ended up having a semi-emergency with my cat, Leroy, and the staff here fit me in same day. I was totally panicked the entire time and they were nothing but kind, patient, compassionate, and comforting. I also bring my small dog here and they’ve been amazing with him! Facilities are always clean. Staff is kind and very knowledgeable!

The staff at Oak Heart Veterinary Hospital at Longview have always been outstanding, but my opinion went up from there with the recent experience of a surgery needed for my aging cat. Dr. Ekblad is an Incredible veterinary doctor who explained my cat’s situation with professionalism, knowledge and compassion. She stayed in touch during the days following the surgery and helped reduce my anxiety to practically nothing. All of the veterinary assistants and reception employees were, and are, fabulous. I have finally found my veterinary home and highly recommend this group for any of your fur kids’ needs!

I first started going to Oakheart Longview when my 9 year old husky/malamute was suddenly very sick. I took him in and he was diagnosed with cancer. I can't thank Dr. Clements enough for being so kind and patient with me during a really difficult time. He was very attentive to answering all my questions promptly via email during the week and discussing my options. The staff is so kind and personable. You can tell how much they care about animals. They were so compassionate and great with Koda and Pax. They made Koda feel comfortable and safe when it came time for him to cross the rainbow bridge. As we left, one of the staff members was very sweet and gave me a hug. She had so much empathy. It meant a lot to me since it was one of the hardest moments in my life. Their prices are also reasonable compared to other vets in the area. When I got Pax, I called VCA and they were going to charge 95 dollars per vaccine. Oakheart Longview is much less than that. I also started bringing my new puppy here and he is a shy guy. They were so patient with him during his puppy visit. They really care. I can't recommend this this veterinary practice enough.

I've taken several cats there. The vets have been great. You can tell they truly love animals. My only problem has been with the diagnosis of one of my cats. The eye drops haven't worked. I've taken her twice and used the drops till they were gone both times, yet her eyes are still getting crusty and goopy. I can't keep giving them money without results
