We had the pleasure of meeting and dealing with Captain Robert Heay during the purchase of a well loved Grand Banks 32 which we saw virtually the same day it came online, and drove 150 miles the next day to see and proceed with purchase. In 60 years of messing about in 13 various boats of power, sail (cruise & race) and motor-sail variations I have never enjoyed the buying process more. Rob not only co-ordinated with his seller, our broker and the surveyor seamlessly, with experience and humor, but also met us off the Ferry with his wife Lori and helped us pick up much needed supplies for the journey home to Vancouver, BC. We were happy, the seller was happy, doesn't get better than that. Thanks Rob !!

Mike Locatell represented my boat for sale in July of 2023. He seems to have a genuine love of boating and a keen interest in trawlers. I believe he set realistic expectations of value and promptly got it listed. Mike really earned his commission holding the deal together and went above and beyond coordinating a few repairs that were needed to complete the sale. I would use him again, for sure.

We worked with Matt Palmer as our broker. He was friendly, and quick to answer all my questions (being entirely new to boats I had a ton!). He was extremely knowledgeable about not only the boat buying process but about boats themselves and was candid about what work might need to be done, what improvements we could make if we wanted to, etc. when doing a walkthrough with the owner. He was also very patient when we wanted to look around at other boats for a while (even though it was through another company and broker). As a first time boat buyer I really appreciated how easy he made the process. I highly recommend him!

My wife and I have work with Bob Berglund off and on for several years looking for just the right boat. He and his company were always willing to help us whether it was to talk on the phone or arrange to show us a boat. We did end up finding the right boat and we are proud to be costumers but most important we have gained a friend. Thank you for everything NW Yachtnet!
