Not A Hobby Moving

These are the best movers I’ve ever had, and I’ve moved around a load! Hands down, you’ve found your movers. I’m reached out to Not a Hobby to help move my Dad, who has a lifetime of stuff, multiple safes, garages, you name it. We had five guys, two trucks, a 10+ hour day. Each person was so considerate and kind - to my Dad, who is an elder and hard of hearing, to his things. They helped us pack even, and did so with care. We did not have ONE broken or damaged item in this move, which is a miracle. They put down blankets in the hallways of his new house so they didn’t track in any sludge from outside - because I buried the lead, this ALL happened as all of Central TX was under inches of snow. These folks shoveled and picked away at ice all across the driveway to get my dad into his new home. I have never seen such dedication and care in movers, and as far as I’m concerned, this is the only moving company worth hiring in Central TX. Call Matt and he’ll take care of you and your family.

Moving is my own personal version of hell, I would rather run a marathon with no training than move my one bedroom apartment across the street. Thankfully, Devin and his team from Not A Hobby showed up to make the day as stress free as possible. All of the movers were kind, punctual, and efficient. They moved us in a timely manner and got all of our furniture set up where we needed it. Thank you guys!

This company is fantastic! I highly recommend them. Matt was responsive and came through in a pinch at the last minute when there was a hiccup with some of my moving supplies. He sent Brian and Cody out for the loading job. These guys were energetic, upbeat, and had a very “can do” attitude! They wrapped my valuable furniture very well, were incredibly respectful of my home and property and did a fantastic job!! Who thought loading a moving truck could be this stress free and pleasant?! The Not a Hobby Moving team made it a very pleasant experience!

We decided to give Not a Hobby a shot after my wife heard about them. Our experience was fantastic. The guys that moved our house were absolute professionals and did an awesome job. They worked quickly and got things done without creating damage in their wake. We will be using them in the future and recommending them widely.

Not a Hobby Moving absolutely exceeded my expectations from start to finish! Moving is very stressful itself, but their team, Jordan, Keenan and Brian made the entire experience smooth and efficient. On top of the move, it was pouring rain. The guys made a point to protect our belongings as best they could. They were punctual, professional, and handled all of my belongings with care. What really stood out was their attention to detail and positive attitude. The crew worked quickly without ever cutting corners, and they made sure everything was placed exactly where I wanted in my new home. Communication was clear throughout the process, and there were no surprises, only great service. If you’re looking for a reliable, hardworking, and friendly moving company, I cannot recommend Not a Hobby Moving enough. They truly turned a stressful day into a seamless experience.

Hate to be the bad review but here we go. JT was the main guy in the crew. They are quick but rough on your property. Had two guns in the totes. Both are missing, had a broken whiskey decanter, and a broken power cord to my adjustable bed. Now I have to file a police report and sue them. Glad other have had a good time but I didn’t.

I hired "Not A Hobby Moving" based on their Google Rating. After a 12-Hour Day, our Movers (KT, Keenan, Jordan and Anthony) were still plugging away to the very end. They were polite and efficient, very careful with our things and when we arrived at our new home, they kindly put everything where we needed it to go. The rates are affordable and owner Matt is an absolute pleasure to do business with. Happy to also report, we had small (fixable) damage (in transport) to a dresser and I was reimbursed within minutes-very impressive! I would highly recommend Matt and his team. I wouldn't have anyone else move my belongings in the future. Thank you all so much, such great work from the first phone call to the very last item placed in the house. We Are Grateful!

Had an excellent experience with this company. The guys who helped me were professional, punctual, and timely. They were very commutative of expectations and services provided. They provided padded blankets to transport my tv and wrapped my couch to prevent scuffing while moving it. They placed all the heavier items where we wanted them, made small adjustments to things so they were centered. There was no eye rolling or passive aggressive comments made, helped set up the bed frame, and placed the tv in the entertainment center. Matt the owner is easy to work with and made our entire move painless. All in all the move from the south side to the east side took 3.5 hours from start to finish. Highly highly recommend
