This is an email I wrote to the company after being prompted to provide feedback, and they never responded.
Hi Matt & company,
As I've finally had some time to unpack this past weekend, I noticed that some of my furniture was damaged by the movers. I made it clear that I needed them to wrap and protect all my furniture as part of the move. I was surprised at how quick they loaded and unloaded everything, while I worked on my computer! But as it turns out the cost was damage, and please bear in mind I did not ask them to go quickly. The shelves inside my antique wardrobe were not secured, this led to one of the support bars breaking off, and the other being pried away from the wall. My dresser has dents in the top now. See photos attached.
I wasn't going to say anything about this, but now collectively with all the concerns, I should mention. I packed fragile things in my car and drove them over to my new place. There is a 3 hour minimum from your company, so with the remaining 20-25m, I asked the crew if they could help me unpack my car. One of the crew members was happy to, the other waited in the truck on the phone, so I helped the one crew member. It only took us about 5 mins, but I found that to be pretty inconsiderate–why was I paying to now do the work myself? The crew didn't remove plastic wrap on many of my things, nor place all the boxes in the exact rooms as they were labeled–things they could have done to meet the time minimum. I tipped the guys $50, but now I regret doing that. They were not considerate or careful with my stuff.
Please let me know how your company intends to make this right.
Thank you
