Not A Hobby Moving

Hate to be the bad review but here we go. JT was the main guy in the crew. They are quick but rough on your property. Had two guns in the totes. Both are missing, had a broken whiskey decanter, and a broken power cord to my adjustable bed. Now I have to file a police report and sue them. Glad other have had a good time but I didn’t.

I was not able to end up using Not a Hobby Moving, due to some unforseen issues with where we were moving. But will definitely consider in the future and recommend them based on the kindness and understand, I was shown by Matt. This was a last minute need for moving helpers. Matt took the time to speak to me about my needs, provided clear and transparent pricing. He tried his hardest to give me options and strategize with me about my situation. He even spoke with me after working hours as my situation was ever changing. He was kind, empathetic, efficient and understanding. Everything you could want in a mover. Please use their services!

This company is fantastic! I highly recommend them. Matt was responsive and came through in a pinch at the last minute when there was a hiccup with some of my moving supplies. He sent Brian and Cody out for the loading job. These guys were energetic, upbeat, and had a very “can do” attitude! They wrapped my valuable furniture very well, were incredibly respectful of my home and property and did a fantastic job!! Who thought loading a moving truck could be this stress free and pleasant?! The Not a Hobby Moving team made it a very pleasant experience!

I hired "Not A Hobby Moving" based on their Google Rating. After a 12-Hour Day, our Movers (KT, Keenan, Jordan and Anthony) were still plugging away to the very end. They were polite and efficient, very careful with our things and when we arrived at our new home, they kindly put everything where we needed it to go. The rates are affordable and owner Matt is an absolute pleasure to do business with. Happy to also report, we had small (fixable) damage (in transport) to a dresser and I was reimbursed within minutes-very impressive! I would highly recommend Matt and his team. I wouldn't have anyone else move my belongings in the future. Thank you all so much, such great work from the first phone call to the very last item placed in the house. We Are Grateful!

I was weary of all moving companies to be honest, because you hear the horror stories of high expenses, damaged furniture, and poor workers moreso than you hear the positive stories. But I’m very happy with Not A Hobby Moving. Justin and Jordan wasted no time and were very efficient. Never at any point did it feel like they were dragging their feet or purposely moving slow. All of our furniture was picked up and transported in pristine condition. Their rates are very fair too. My wife and I spent most of the week prior to Moving Day transporting as much that we could ourselves to our new house so we only really had heavy items and a few small things left for the movers when they came. But they were still impressively able to package and transport a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment that included two beds (1king, 1 queen), two dressers, three night stands, two TVs, a dining room table, 6 chairs, 3 barstool chairs, patio furniture, and a couch in a solid 3-4 hours. Along with a plethora of Christmas decorations and other smaller items. All this came out to about $650+ which I think was worth every penny. Honestly I was worried about getting price gouged $2-3k so I was extremely happy with the rate. I cannot recommend these guys enough. My wife also says the owner of the company who she dealt with more than me was very open and honest and the most impressive of the other 4 companies she quoted prior to us choosing Not A Hobby. I thank Not A Hobby for easing my concerns about movers and I will always recommend them to those in need of moving.

Matt and his team are incredible! I called them frantically because I was in a bind and needed assistance moving a large piece of furniture up a flight of stairs. Matt kindly accepted the task and offered to support day of. His team arrived on time, were kind, professional, and handled everything with ease. I’m so grateful for their help and will definitely be reaching out for future moving needs. Thank you, Matt and team!

I booked these movers the day prior to my move and they arrived ready to work. They were great guys; respectful, hard working, and made multiple stops for me (storage unit and new place). Great price as well. I would definitely use again and recommend.

I had a great experience with Not a Hobby moving company, I highly recommend these guys! From the beginning, Matt was very pleasant to talk to and had great communication. I was also very impressed with Chase and Keenan during my move experience. We had a bit of a road block when my couch couldn’t fit through the doorway and these guys went above and beyond to make sure we got it in and got the job done. Awesome experience, 5 stars.

From first contact, Matt was quick to schedule and estimate quote. Movers showed up, were on task, completed the move in the hours allotted. The crew was great, friendly and focused. I’d absolutely recommend “Not a hobby Moving”, it was truly a “peace of mind” experience, they were thorough and delivered as promised.

If you want professional, on-time services with really experienced movers, use Not a Hobby Moving! This is the second time I’ve needed Matt to solve a furniture moving problem. David and Andrew showed up as they did last time and made quick work of the move. Great job and I’ll continue to recommend you to friends remodeling.
