Join Emily Peterman for this 6-week workshop where you will learn how to alleviate pain, tightness, and irritation that occurs due to muscle imbalances and scar tissue.
This workshop will begin with a 30-minute individualized assessment to ensure you are getting the correct exercises to help you get relief quickly!
The remainder of this workshop will focus on:
-Gaining a deeper understanding of how muscle imbalances cause poor posture and neck health.
-Learning how to do a self-assessment in the mirror so you can spot your own postural abnormalities which will allow for self-correction and awareness of your body.
-Techniques to help with mobilization, including muscle and fascia release, and nerve gliding.
-Implementing corrective exercises and stretches to help reteach your body and spine where it should be in space for alignment that promotes ease through movement.
-Utilizing foam rollers and myofascial release techniques to enhance mind-body muscle and body awareness.
-Learning proper stretching techniques for the neck and upper back can be more sensitive. This will ensure you are helping alleviate stress versus irritating sensitive areas.
You will finish this 6-week workshop with the knowledge to take control of your upper extremity pain and find relief on a regular basis!
