Highly recommend! I came in a couple days ago for a test drive and Kevin helped me with a few cars i was interested in. I really liked the Taos, but I wanted to sleep on it and shop around. When I came back ready to buy, Kevin & Team were incredibly accommodating and up-front about the process. the experience was great and I definitely recommend the team at Northtown VW!

Best car buying experience ever-hands down!! Unlike the other VW dealership (where we were shopping-dealership not to be named), Kevin M., with Northtowne VW, provided consice answers to ALL my questions-over the phone-on Wednesday evening, just before closing time. He didn't request to schedule an appointment for the next day as to speak face-to-face. Within minutes of my call, he emailed detailed pricing with payment options-unlike the shenanigans and runaround (several weeks) I had been getting from the other dealer... you know the type: they can't give you a straight honest answer or they don't answer your question and always say something such as: "I need to ask my manager and get back with you" or "let's just go ahead and meet, and I can answer your questions then," followed up by "when can you come in?" That sort of shady type of behavior did not occur with Kevin! After my wife and I reviewed the info he provided, we called and scheduled an appointment to purchase the car. Friday morning, we met with Tom, in finance, and closed the deal. It took 1 call and 1 appointment...closed, done deal. No hassles, nor weeks of calls, texts and emails! Both, Kevin and Tom were kind, professional and highly knowledgeable on all aspects of the transaction. They built a great deal of confidence which made us feel that we were important and in good hands. At no point did we feel misinformed, mislead or pushed into buying any unwanted items. They themselves, based simply on their courtesy and professionalism, added much value to the deal! To date this was our best purchase transaction ever. Convenient, fast and easy (in and out in under an hour on the day of purchase); most professional car purchase experience thus far. If you're in the market for a vehicle, I'd strongly recommend calling on Northtowne first, before going anywhere else!!

Northtowne VW Service makes scheduling an appointment harder than any dealership I've ever dealt with. Their AI scheduling service, can't ever understand what you need, their online site to schedule doesn't show any appointment times available to book, you call and talk to the operator and they transfer you to their AI booking service, that sucks, you call back and leave the tech's a voicemail and they don't return your call. Absolutely awful customer service, the only way to actual get is to stop by and walk in yourself and book the service appointment and if you're lucky it will be within the next 45-60 days. Called a different VW service department, got ahold of a human, got an appointment booked for tomorrow instead of having to wait for months. Typically have enjoyed working with Northtowne, but the past few years their service department has failed to provide customer service. They don't return messages, they don't call you back to schedule and they provide absolutely no way to schedule online.

Not your typical car buying experience. We worked with Kevin Montalto in sales and Thomas in the finance department. Both were extremely knowledgeable, professional and helpful. A low-pressure environment where they didn’t play the usual “games” found when purchasing a vehicle. Heck, we even got the deal worked out over text. Would definitely recommend.

We took our car to Northtowne Volkswagen after an accident because of a starting issue, and this has been the worst experience we’ve ever had with any shop. The body shop did shoddy, half-finished work, dragged the whole thing out for OVER TWO MONTHS for ONE door. and still didn’t even install the door correctly, the handle is extremely loose. Then, the service department couldn’t figure out a simple starting issue that any competent shop should have been able to diagnose. What makes it worse? They put HUNDREDS of miles on our car without our permission and still came back with “we couldn’t find the problem.” All the while having extremely minimal communication with us. This was completely unacceptable. We took it to Volkswagen Lee’s Summit and they found the issue in less than a day by running a basic code check. That just shows how incompetent Northtowne really is. This place is a joke. They will absolutely waste your time, your patience, and clearly don’t respect your vehicle. Go anywhere else.
