I cannot say enough good things about this clinic! After being turned away by another vet who had already agreed to see and operate on my dog, I was scrambling to find help. Every clinic I called either had outrageous prices or a 1–2 week wait. My dog had snapped his tooth completely out of the socket while camping, and it was still lodged at a 90-degree angle. This clinic fit us in the same day. They evaluated him, ran senior blood work, and scheduled surgery for the very next morning. Dr. Chege was kind, compassionate, and absolutely confident in handling the procedure. His skill and precision are unlike anything I’ve seen, and the surgery went perfectly. He even let me keep my dog’s giant tooth as a keepsake! The pricing was the most reasonable I found anywhere. Dr. Chege worked with my budget, did not push unnecessary services, and even removed optional items to keep costs manageable. That level of honesty is rare and so appreciated. Every member of the staff was incredible—from the two friendly front desk ladies who patiently answered my many questions, to the skilled and compassionate techs and assistants who cared for my big German Shepherd like he was their own. Despite being a large dog in pain, my boy quickly became buddies with Dr. Chege because of the way he was treated. On top of all that, the facility is gorgeous—decorated with a calming local forest and park theme that immediately puts you at ease. We are now lifelong clients. We’re already planning to schedule our kittens’ neuters here, and from now on, all of our animals will be seeing Dr. Chege and his amazing team. Thank you so much for the care, compassion, affordability, and skill you provided during such a stressful time. Walked in this morning after I found my dog had a swollen paw. Even though they don’t typically take walk ins, they were kind and my dog was seen within 15 min. The vet was so compassionate and knowledgeable. He was gentle and understanding of my nervous dog. They got a foxtail out of his paw and set him straight. Definitely coming back. Lovely new office too.

Was vacationing at Huntington Lake and my dog had intestinal issues. Dr Chege prescribed antibiotics, probiotics and some stool medicine. Sunny was as good as new and vacation saved ! Thank you !!!

Dr. Chege and his team at Northpointe are the best of the best. They are all incredibly kind and helpful. Although it’s incredibly painful to put a pet to rest, they handled it with the utmost care and made sure my boy was as comfortable as possible during his remaining months. I couldn't express how thankful I am for every person who works at this animal hospital. Your babies will be cared for and loved here!

I’ve been taking my dogs & cats here since 2008 & the Veterinarian Doctors are caring, loving, compassionate and supportive. Their staff is friendly, empathetic, very knowledgeable and helpful. They are willing to work with you on pricing and offer new puppy and kitten packages that cover their 1st year of many vaccinations and spay/neuter if you so choose. The Doctor even offered holistic remedies to help you save on medications. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with the health and well being of my pets. I highly recommend you try this wonderful place.

This place is really great. The vet is very informative and very kind. The staff are fantastic and super nice to patients. My sister and I come from an hour away to have our pets be seen. You won't find a more compassionate team.

Every detail has been carefully thought out at this gorgeous location, right down to the sweet blackboard welcoming pets by name to the children’s toys in the spacious, clean waiting room. The staff are all lovely and Dr. Chege is the real deal, he clearly loves animals, has their best interests at heart and really cares. In 30 years of owning pets, this practice surpasses them all.

Don’t advertise yourself as emergency and urgent care if you can’t accommodate a walk in and turn them away. My dog had something lodged in his throat and a google search of emergency vet services showed this place the closest. When I get there they said appointment only. Those 20 min I went here instead of somewhere else could have meant life or death for my dog. Don’t call yourself emergency if you have to make an appointment first and cannot accommodate.

I am so thankful for Dr. Chege and the whole team here. They are compassionate, patient, kind and understanding. They were able to work us in during an emergency situation and treated us with so much respect and kindness even though it was our first time visiting the clinic. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking compassionate care for their animals.
