Adam and his crew are incredible! We had three huge oak trees removed that hung directly over our house and they made it look like light work. Every cut was made with such precision. The entire crew was professional and non stop the whole time. Everything from the tree removals, to the stump grinding, to the clean up was phenomenal. Our yard is cleaner now than it was when they arrived for the job. They completely transformed our house and back yard and I can't thank them enough. Highly recommend these guys, you won't be disappointed!

During a severe microburst storm on April 29, 2025, one of my large maple trees came down between my home and my neighbor’s, completely blocking her driveway. I called Adam Williams at Northern Arborist, and within just 20 minutes—while it was still raining—he was on site assessing the situation. Without hesitation, Adam and his crew got right to work, swiftly and safely cutting and removing the fallen tree. What impressed me most was the level of care and professionalism they demonstrated. Adam made sure my neighbor’s driveway was completely cleared of debris, and he left my yard spotless. He even went out of his way to inspect my fence and robot mower for any potential damage. His thoroughness and commitment to quality work were evident in every step of the process. By the end of the same day, the entire tree and all debris were removed. Adam and his team were fast, efficient, courteous, and highly professional. I strongly recommend Northern Arborist to anyone in need of expert tree care and removal. I’ll definitely be hiring Adam again this season to remove another aging tree on my property.

Northern Arborist removed two 90-foot oak trees that stood very close to our house. Beneath one of them were several beautiful smaller trees that we wanted to preserve because we value their flowers and the privacy provided by their foliage. Adam and his team were exceptionally professional. They did not free-fall a single branch. Instead, every section was carefully lowered with ropes. This requires considerable skill, precision, and patience. They protected our home, preserved our landscaping, and were a pleasure to work with throughout the project. Removing trees of this size is a major undertaking that can easily become disruptive and messy. Northern Arborist worked meticulously, protecting our lawn and leaving the site cleaner than we expected. We have had seven trees removed from our property over the years. While Northern Arborist was not the lowest-cost option, they were by far the most professional, careful, and skilled contractor we have worked with. I highly recommend Northern Arborist for their expertise, professionalism, and meticulous workmanship.

Great service and quality work. I had a really nice tree split during the recent storm. It fell into my neighbors yard and smashed his fence. The remaining tree was was leaning towards my house. My neighbor recommended northern arborist. I texted Adam a few pics, he responded almost immediately, was able to come the same day and complete the work. He and his team were great and the cleaned everything so well you would not have known we had a storm. Highly recommended

Great experience with Adam and his team. They did an excellent job taking down a large, damaged Norway Maple in addition to trimming up a maple and birch. Adam talked to me for over an hour during the initial estimate about the health of the trees and I felt confident I was doing the right thing for all 3. He has a ton of experience and is passionate about what he does - not just looking to take down every tree. He and his crew did an excellent job and really took care of not only my property, but my neighbors as well - making sure all debris was cleaned up. Highly recommend and will be calling them for any future tree work.

When the tornado struck my property in eastern Ohio, it left behind a trail of destruction. Hundred—foot trees were ripped from the ground, uprooting my driveway. I had massive tree tops and debris scattered over my deck, roof, porch, front and back yard. My property backs up to a ravine, making the situation even more challenging. Thankfully, my house was spared (minor roof and partial gutter damage), but the damage to the landscape and hole in my driveway was immense. Within just two days, Adam and his crew from Northern Arborist completely transformed the scene. They tackled the massive job with professionalism and expertise, clearing everything as if the storm had never happened—except for the absence of those majestic hundred-foot trees, the gaping hole in my driveway, holes in my siding, and the cracked deck and porch. The work required someone skilled in climbing tall trees and navigating the ravine, and Adam's team handled it with exceptional care and precision. The results exceeded my expectations, leaving my property looking better than I could have imagined. Although based in Pennsylvania, Northern Arborist will be my first call for tree-related needs. In times of crisis, you genuinely see the caliber of a contractor's work and their integrity, and Adam and his team were nothing short of fantastic. Their honesty and deep knowledge in their field are rare and invaluable, especially when you're desperate for assistance. Highly recommended!

Highly recommend Adam and his crew for any of your tree needs. They were very professional and knowledgeable with taking out my 80ft cottonwood that had no drop zone. They gave us the peace of mind that nothing will be falling off again from this massive tree during a storm. Great job!!!

My father recently passed away and while I was visiting I noticed that there were several trees endangering his house. I didn’t want to worry that before I could return, those trees would fall on the house. I contacted Adam at Northern Arborist and he showed up the same day. He took one look at the property and assessed what needed to happen. He didn’t try to sell me on anything I didn’t need or want. His pricing was phenomenal! I told him about the situation and he said, “Don’t stress, we will get this taken care of.” And he did! In one day, Adam and his crew took down 4 very large trees and trimmed up some others that were over the driveway. He stayed in contact through the whole process, sent pictures and left me without any concerns. I couldn’t be more thankful. I have been extremely impressed with the honesty, integrity, and professionalism of Adam and his team at Northern Arborists. From start to finish, they demonstrated exceptional expertise, efficiency, and attention to detail. My project involved clearing about 1/4 acre of wooded land, which was mostly dead trees. Other companies told me they couldn’t save any of the trees I wanted to keep and just wanted to use a forestry mulcher for bulk clearing—completely disregarding my vision as a homeowner. Adam, on the other hand, took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and executed the job with precision. He and his team carefully selected and preserved the healthy trees while safely removing the rest—including many over 60 feet tall. His technical climbing skills were outstanding, and his precision in felling trees ensured the job was done safely and efficiently. Not only did they cut all the logs into firewood-sized pieces, but Adam also accommodated my request to have select logs cut to length for milling. Everything was neatly piled in my chosen locations, making cleanup and future use incredibly convenient. Their stump grinding service was far superior to companies I’ve used in the past, leaving the land in excellent condition rather than just a mound of wood chips. Now, the cleared area is practically ready to seed and mow this year! On top of all this, Adam’s pricing was very competitive—especially considering the high level of service and attention to detail. Throughout the process, he was responsive, professional, and made sure all my questions were answered. His dedication to customer satisfaction is evident in every aspect of his work. I will definitely be using Northern Arborists again—likely this fall for additional dead tree removal and large tree pruning.
