This maple tree towered over the customers home and pool area. It is a prime example of a tree that to the naked eye appeared healthy, safe and structurally sound. Upon aerial inspection signs of decay were discovered high up in the canopy. Ultimately it was concluded that the entire trunk section was hollow and every weakening with each passing year. This is what I like to call a ticking time bomb. It was inevitable that this tree one day would eventually fall onto the home doing massive damage and potentially killing or seriously injuring anyone who may be inside.
