John and his team at North Shore Tree Experts did a great job removing our tall pine trees and our neighbors hugh oak tree. They work together like a fine tuned machine, did everything professionally and cleaned up the debris that was left. We would definitely recommend John and his crew! Plus it was interesting to watch them work 😊

Couldn’t be happier with my experience with John Stevens and North Shore Tree Service! John is as hardworking as they come, and has the knowledge to back it up! We called John on a Thursday evening for an estimate to clear 1/4 acre of trees and the job was done by Sunday afternoon. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend North Shore Tree Service to anybody who needs tree work done.

John and his crew came over and removed 4 trees, and pruned others a long the street. They were professional, on time, and did an excellent job cleaning up! The pricing was excellent, they were polite and accommodating to my neighbors. I will use them again on a heartbeat!!

North Shore Tree Experts was my favorite for-service hire I’ve made in the last several years. I was incredibly pleased across the entire spectrum of their work. Great communication, responsive, timely, very professional, skilled tree removal, reasonable rates, and just a real decent set of humans. I had needed several trees removed, and they spent a whole day cutting and clearing the trees from my backyard. Some of the trees were close to the house and others had grown in ways that made them tricky to trim. John and his crew scaled, cut, craned, and placed the tree trunks like legos in their truck all with the grace of a ballet dance. It was really impressive to watch their trimming work. It’s also important to note that they took great care in ensuring the safe limb dropping as well as using truck mats on the grass to help with the weight of the tree equipment. I had my tree work done in Ipswich, and I see them all over with their signs. However, I believe they also do tree service in the north shore for most towns, like Danvers, Salem, and Beverly. I highly highly recommend you give them a call.

John and his crew are excellent tree removal experts. We had a 60 ft pine crack at the base during a storm and was leaning over our neighbors house. John and his crew responded to our emergency call and safely removed it and hauled it off in their log truck same day.

Hire them. Period. John Stevens, owner and climber, is professional, friendly, and his prices are easy on the family budget. To watch John and his crew in action is amazing—they performed hard work quickly, taking down an enormous pine tree and then thoroughly cleaned up the yard where the work was done. And so, hire them, that’s my advice.

John returned my phone calls promptly, did a site visit and took the time to listen to our concerns and offer his advice on removal of seven overgrown trees surrounding the house and pool. He and his crew arrived on time and made a difficult job look easy. They were friendly, knowledgeable and professional. They finished the project for a reasonable price and left the site clean and free of debris. Highly recommend!

John Stevens, and North Shore Tree Experts were absolutely amazing to work with. John and his team are knowledgeable, professional, meticulous and unbelievably skilled. John was responsive from the beginning, he came out right away to look at the tree (a massive Noway Spruce), quoted me a price and scheduled a date. He showed up on time and had every piece of necessary equipment to do the job. He even had large mats that protected my lawn where the trucks had to drive over it. His crew were all amazing and respectful and they cleaned up the yard better than they found it. I can't recommend John and North Shore Tree Experts more!

The job John helped me with wasn't quite the scale he's used to but if my experience is any indication of how he runs his business, everyone should use North Shore Tree Experts! I had been trying for months to find anyone to help me take down a small, dead tree in my backyard just so my cat could no longer use it to jump the fence and escape. No other tree companies would give me the time of day because the job was too small. Someone had highly recommended NSTE so I emailed John on a Friday morning, he called me a few hours later, and stopped by to cut the tree down in about 5 minutes on Friday afternoon. He didn't even want me to pay him! (I don't think anyone else should expect this though : ) He helped me out immensely and was so kind and considerate about it.
