We needed the roof on our house and shed replaced, our gutters cleaned, and gutter guards installed. We spoke to several well-regarded roofing companies, but we are so glad we chose NC Roofing & Gutter Company! John Davis is everything you could hope for in a contractor: communicative, knowledgable and someone who really works to complete the job to the highest standard. His quote came in under the other companies' but, ultimately, it was our trust in John and his team that led to us choosing him for the project. They worked efficiently but didn't cut corners, covered our yard during the roofing project and did a great job cleaning up after the work was complete. John walked around our entire property the day of install, and then set up a time with us to walk around the property and make sure that all of the roof finishes and gutter work were done to our satisfaction. He answered all of our questions and went above and beyond by helping us understand everything from how our property carries rainwater runoff to flashing styles to responsible financing options. We've had neighbors and other contractors comment on how great our new roof looks and a variety of storms have already come through - it's passed every single test! Our 29 unit condo association was tired of paying for gutter/drain cleaning 3X annually so we decided to investigate gutter covers. During our research, we contacted four contractors each having extensive experience installing gutter covers. NC Roofing and Gutter Co. was by far the most competitive (15% less) and had the superior product. John Davis and his crew held to their install dates as well as time period of installation. After completion, our grounds were well cleaned of any installation debris. Lastly, feedback from many of our residents was very positive. Needless to say, our Board of Directors was overwhelmingly satisfied with NCR&G’s price, product and service.

I wanted to this to be a great experience after reading all the reviews, unfortunately I haven't had any communication since I accepted the quote. I have an entire chain of emails that have gone unanswered. If I call, I'm told they will respond to me by end of day and then it's more silence. I'll call again, and it's the same cycle. It's been almost a month now since we were told they would get us on the schedule and we are left with damage still needing repaired and starting over with getting quotes from other companies. I only wish I hadn't tried to wait so long to make it work with this company.

John and his crew did an excellent job with my roof and gutter repairs. They even removed the tree that fell on it! Strongly recommend these guys for any future work.

I had such high hopes for this company to replace my gutters. John was super friendly, knowledgeable and respectful. I even decided on the spot that I would use his services for all of my projects (crawlspace door replacement, new fascia boards and more). Then came the silence. I was never put on the schedule nor did I receive a response to my texts. Luckily I've found another company to help me but the experience was disappointing and set me back a couple of weeks. John is still amazing and I just wish I could have worked with him.

NC Gutter / John made life so much easier for us - we had some gutter work we needed and while John was here, we ended-up finding a handful of other things that needed repair. John responded immediately when I initially reached out, came by the same day, was very fairly-priced, and completed the work in a single day less than 2 weeks later. They did work with our gutters, facia, an exterior ceiling, and repair to a window. We're grateful to have found them and will be using them whenever we can moving forward!

I wanted to wait some time after having my roof and gutters installed before leaving a review, and I’m glad I did. Since the installation, we’ve had several inches of snow and days of torrential downpour, and I can confidently say this company did an amazing job. John was extremely communicative throughout the process and even offered next-day installation since the scope of work fit into their schedule. The team was on top of everything. Seven guys showed up at my house between 7-8 AM, and by lunch, my roof was completely stripped. By 6 PM, the new roof was installed. They even came out the next day (a Saturday) to ensure any loose nails and shingles were cleaned up. On the next business day, they installed brand-new 6-inch gutters, finishing the job before lunch. I got three estimates, and this company was by far the most reasonably priced. It’s shocking that I received such high-quality work at this price point. It really put into perspective the “cash grabs” and high markups some other companies try to push. One company even boasted about using a particular brand of shingles, claiming they were the only ones in the industry to use them. Sure enough, when NRRG Co. delivered my materials, it was the exact same shingles—just without the inflated price. I’ll forever be loyal to this company and won’t recommend anyone else. Their professionalism, efficiency, and fair pricing set them apart.

John’s team are the most passionate and professional people I have ever dealt with. He came on Friday to quote me for a gutter replacement, knowing for potential rain for the following day , he sent one of his tech Corey on Saturday to do the job before the rain starts. I will definitely consider them for my future projects. Thank you John!
