I visited NorCal Neurostimulation in Folsom during their open house and was really impressed by the calm, welcoming vibe of the office. The space feels peaceful, and the staff seem genuinely passionate about the work they’re doing to support mental health. I didn’t come as a client, but I learned a bit about their TMS (NeuroStar) treatments, which they use to help people with major depression and OCD. According to the team, they’ve seen good responses from patients, which is encouraging to hear. I didn’t try the treatment myself, but the technology sounds promising. They also showed us their new esketamine room—a space where clients can recline and listen to music during their sessions. It’s a pretty simple setup, but I imagine that might actually be helpful for keeping the environment calm and focused. Overall, it seems like a thoughtful and professional place for people seeking alternative mental health treatments.

Dr.Marasa, Matilda, and the rest of the team are so wonderful! After having a hard time finding the support I needed for my treatment resistant depression and SI, I found NorCal Neurostimulation! When I first met Dr.Marasa I was a numb little bug. Going through the TMS treatment was a process of good days and harder days, but those harder days got easier to get through. During my TMS treatments I found this inner power that I never had before! I found my voice! Dr. Marasa is one of the most caring Dr. I have ever meet. She has helped me turn my entire life around. I started out with no self esteem. Now I’m a different person, went from depending on everyone else, to doing nearly everything myself ,I’m seventy seven years old, but my mind keeps telling me that’s impossible. I’ve gone from living on a mountain with my husband and no friends, to living in Lincoln in a retirement community, doing all my own projects, paying my own bills, all that most normal people do. I saw Dr marasa because I suffer with treatment resistant depression with suicidal ideation amongst other things like autism and ocd. Not only did they want to make sure they talked to my treating psych to get permission from him in order for them to treat me. This took them almost a month of them wasting my time of them trying to get ahold of him but i understand why and I also talked to him and he agreed to it so I was happy to have them talk to eachother even tho Dr marasa told me I was a good candidate for the treatment the first day I spoke with her on the phone . She then proceeded to make me wait weeks to have her get permission from my doctor only to then tell me I would not benefit from being treated there but I would benefit from more therapy ( I go twice a week now) . If you are suffering with pain mentally and psychically do yourself a favor and go somewhere that cares about your time and feelings. Because these women do not.
