TMS gave me the relief I have been searching for for years from depression, anxiety, and PTSD. Dr. Woodall is an excellent guide through the process. From the consultation all the way through. He really heard me. The actual treatment is painless and the sessions never lasted more than 20 min. It is a commitment I wasn’t sure I could make as it’s not a simple one off treatment, but am eternally grateful that I did. After just the first three sessions I began to feel a sense of ease in my daily life and by the time I was finished, felt like I was back in control of my overall mood. It feels amazing to have that back. I went from severe depression, etc. to optimistic about my future and I owe that to TMS and Dr. Woodall. Seriously guys, he’s a great doctor. If you can, I urge you to do some research (there is so much information on the website as is though) and reach out to Newtown TMS and Dr. Woodall. It works!

Dr. Woodall is an exceptional human being and doctor. He can not only help you reclaim your life, but faith in humanity. 30 years I had been treated for anxiety and depression with therapy and medication. And from what I learned through my TMS treatment that the dosage of medications was EXCESSIVE even for a high dosage. Even after that amount of time I found myself in crisis over and over. My Dr. retired and I was frantically trying to find help it was clear my medications were just not doing their job…….why was I feeling this way…….I was scared!!!!! Thankfully there were not many psychiatrists available (another matter altogether) so actually finding one that would talk to me was encouraging. I contacted Dr. Woodall and he returned my call that afternoon. I started my TMS treatment within the week. I stand before the mirror today off all the medications I had been on for 30years with a clarity and confidence that I am well. I understand the science of the TMS treatment but do not believe that those 36 twenty minute treatments gave me a calmness in my spirit. Life still goes on good, bad or indifferent, but I’m not overwhelmed or scared of thinking or being anymore. Dr Woodall told me on day one that he would introduce the new me to me as we progressed in treatment. He did just that and I am enjoying every minute.

TMS has been an integral part of my treatment plan. Dr. Woodall administers each treatment personally and tailors it to the individual patient. TMS helped to calm the anxiety and fight/flight symptoms I experienced after being diagnosed with PTSD. I’m thankful to have such an experienced and knowledgeable professional on my team!

5 stars isn’t enough to show how much TMS helped me.!!! I saw a very noticeable improvement after the 1st treatment.Depressive thoughts were hanging on to me, one after the other pulling me down like I was drowning in sadness. I had been on several antidepressants since the late '80s to function at work and home. But when cancer appeared 2 years ago with the associated radiation and drug treatments, the depression became unbearable. It was tough getting out of that hole every morning. I heard about drug-free TMS and my primary doctor recommended Dr. Woodall. At 70 years old, Dr. Woodall's diagnosis was that I had Bipolar 2- not major depression! After the 35 TMS treatments and several months of Fluvoximine, I felt much more normal. Since the SSIs made me unable to feel sorrow or joy, I quit all of the Wellbutrin and Fluvoximine. No SSIs after 35 years! The TMS created a new baseline in my brain, so I can function normally--and no nasty side effects. Not only is this a wonderful treatment, Dr. Woodall actually cares about his patients.

After almost a year of searching for help for severe anxiety and not finding it, I was blessed to meet Dr. Woodall. At our first meeting he told me that he wouldn't let me leave the office without feeling hope. And after the meeting I did. He is the most compassionate, caring, brilliant person and doctor. He has always been there for me, helping me heal. He saved me. I cannot say enough good things.

Dr. Woodall is a very compassionate practitioner. He really cares about your well-being and he has an unique integrative approach. His appointments do not feel rushed and he listens to you.
