When Renee Moores started United Delivery out of her garage, she never imagined it would grow into five offices across the East Coast. But after 28 years, countless challenges, and a full reimagining of her business, she’s still showing up with the same determination.
One of her proudest moments came while opening a new office in Georgia, spotting one of her own trucks on the highway with the company logo.
But the road wasn’t always smooth. When technology changed and their courier work began to disappear, Renee had to rebuild completely, learn the trucking industry from scratch, and create a new customer base along the way.
Renee’s story is one of resilience, grit, and faith in what’s possible. “Believe in yourself,” she says. “Even if one door closes, another will open.”
We’re proud to celebrate Renee, a long-time client and true friend of New Valley Bank, this Women's Entrepreneurship Day.
