During a very painful time for our family, this funeral home handled my father’s cremation and memorial service with professionalism, patience, and respect. Grief can bring complicated family dynamics, and I want to be clear that the staff remained neutral, respectful, and focused on doing their job the right way. They treated my father with dignity and did their best to ensure everything was handled properly and lawfully. I’m thankful for the care they showed and for the support they provided during a difficult moment. I would recommend them to families looking for professionalism and compassion when it matters most.

I am 20 years old and trusted this funeral home to handle my father’s cremation and memorial service. Instead of compassion and professionalism, I was met with behavior that crossed boundaries no grieving family should ever have to deal with. The staff—especially one male staff member—needs to understand this very clearly: stay out of family business. It was shockingly inappropriate for anyone at this funeral home to insert themselves into personal family matters, offer opinions, or “weigh in” on situations they did not fully understand. You did not know the entire story, and even if you thought you did, it was not your place. Funeral home staff are there to provide services with dignity and neutrality—not judgment, commentary, or interference. What made this experience unforgivable happened on the day of my father’s service. A staff member attempted to take something from me that belonged to my father. I am his child, grieving the loss of my parent, and I simply wanted one last item to remember him by. The fact that this even became an issue is heartbreaking and unacceptable. No family—especially a young adult burying a parent—should have to defend themselves in a moment like that. This funeral home failed to provide the respect, discretion, and professionalism required in this line of work. Grief is not the time for power plays, opinions, or overstepping boundaries. Families come to places like this at their most vulnerable, trusting that they will be treated with care and humanity. Based on my experience, I would strongly urge others to think carefully before trusting this funeral home with something as sacred as a loved one’s final arrangements.

Johnnie was the first person we met, and he guided us through every step of the process with such kindness and patience. He went above and beyond in helping us find the right cemetery and church that fit both our needs and our budget — something we deeply appreciated during such an emotional time. Peta did an incredible job preparing our mom for the viewing; she looked peaceful and beautiful, exactly as we remembered her. Michelle thoughtfully curated the room in a way that truly captured our mother’s essence, making the space feel warm, comforting, and full of her spirit. Arayma and Lee were wonderful in welcoming and caring for our family and friends as they came to pay their respects. Their gentle presence made a difficult day a little easier to bear. The team also offered the option to live stream the service, which allowed loved ones outside the country to join us virtually — a meaningful touch that brought our family together across the miles. New Beginnings truly supported us through the hardest moment of our lives. They handled everything with grace, respect, and empathy, and we are forever grateful for how they helped us celebrate our mother’s life. Their prices are also very reasonable compared to other funeral homes, but more importantly, the level of care and attention they provide is simply priceless. Ron Samaria initially took care of our needs and we are blessed that he was the one to serve is as his service was exceptional warm and caring. I don't know where to begin. But here it goes... From the moment we walked into New Beginnings the energy was warm. We'd visited 3 other locations and they were so business minded that we felt a bit eh. But, Mr. Johnny was very helpful and detailed with the information that we immediately said "this is the right place." As we were sharing information about our dad, Mr. Johnny was taking mental notes that took their services above and beyond our expectations. Well, to our surprise, as we arrived to the church, we noticed that he had created grass for daddy's golf bags to sit on, and a baseball theme table to honor him. It was simply amazing! Lets not forget Ms. Peta-Gaye, because she did an amazing job with our dad, and you could tell by her work that she cared. And...... at the service, the staff were very attentive and professional. It was simply a great experience with New Beginnings. A few bonuses to know is that se habla español. So, no worries if English is a barrier. As well as, they also collaborate with a Bereavement/Grief Specialist that helps families with their healing journeys through their difficult times.
