Compassionate Support at Neptune Society (Golden Valley, MN) I cannot express enough gratitude for the Neptune Society and the support they provided following the unexpected passing of my mother. We had fortunately purchased a policy just a few months prior, and I am so thankful we did. Dealing with an unexpected death is incredibly stressful, but having everything already in place made the process seamless and simplified, allowing our family to focus on our grief rather than logistics. The staff at the Golden Valley branch was exceptional: Andrea Rasmus: We worked with Andrea to purchase the policy. She made the initial setup easy and ensured everything was perfectly in place. Ellen Kokes: After my mother’s passing, Ellen was incredible. She navigated every detail with us—from the obituary and death certificates to the final planning. What truly touched us were the thoughtful details we hadn't even considered during such a difficult time. We were offered fingerprints for keepsakes and locks of hair, which are so meaningful to our family. Additionally, they were able to hold her ashes until we have our service this summer, which has given us the time we need to plan a proper farewell. Both Andrea and Ellen were empathetic, kind, and provided so much helpful information. They treated us with genuine care and made a painful situation much more bearable. I highly recommend this team for the peace of mind they provide.

The Neptune Society was truly a light in a very dark time for us. Michelle and her team took care of us right from the beginning, offering compassion and understanding throughout the process. They went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of and had what we needed. They never tried to upsell or push, but listened, offered what seemed appropriate, and made everything easy. But really, it's the knowledge that you're with people who really care and understand what you're going through that matters the most. We are so happy that we had them as our partners during this very sad time.

My father passed away unexpectedly without any funeral plans. I called The Neptune Society and they were very responsive and professional. I really didn’t know what to expect as I have never lost a family member, but would highly recommend The Neptune Society to anyone considering cremation. Thank you so much to everyone we came in contact with, from the moment my father’s body was picked up and through the process of cremation. Michelle was so caring, sharing her own personal experience with her loss. I also appreciate all of the follow ups that we have received over the past few weeks. I will definitely share my experience with anyone that is looking into cremation.

I have had the pleasure of dealing with neptune society from them coming to my home to set up my fathers last wishes to executing his last wishes with them helping me the staff especially Rae was wonderful to work with even given the circumstances of why we were working together. Rae was always very professional and caring along with giving sound advice on what the next steps were i was very fortunate to work with Rae as she showed that she genuinely cared for her clients! If you are on the fence with using neptune societies services, I would recommend that you go with them they genuinely care for their clients and the families! Thank you again Rae!

My sister paid for her cremation years ago through Neptune Society. When she passed away I contacted the Neptune Society, because I had to bring her urn to them. I dealt with a wonderful lady named Ellen. The whole process was wonderful during this difficult time.

My parents contracted with the Neptune Society in Golden Valley Minnesota a few years ago. Upon the death of both my mother and father, which happened years apart, the staff at the facility were professional, kind and caring. They made the whole process smooth and without incident. They took care of picking up both my parents bodies and transporting them over a hundred miles to their crematorium. The whole process took so much stress off of me and my family and allowed us to grieve instead of planning a funeral. I highly recommend them. Especially Ellen who was our contact. Bless them!

My husband and I had previously made arrangements for ourselves with the Neptune Society, so when Mom passed away, we contacted them to care for her. We are so appreciative of the gentle and expert care we were provided as we made arrangements for Mom. What we didn't expect was the follow-up care offered to our family after the necessary arrangements were completed. We know our children will be thankful that we chose to put our final care plans in the hands of the Neptune Society - and we know our children will be well cared through the free resources offered to family members.

No one wants to deal with cremation and death especially unexpectedly- but Rae our funeral Director Went above and beyond in every way to answer every question we had and be as kind as possible, in a completely difficult time. Neptune Society was recommended to me by a friend of mine who works in hospice and she wasn’t wrong. I think they did an excellent job at every turn. They were empathetic and I felt like my dad was in good hands. I am very grateful for their service.

My parents, prepaid and arranged for their complete funerals using Neptune Society in Texas, where they lived. A few years ago they moved to Minnesota and unfortunately, one of them died recently. The Minnetonka office of Neptune Society treated us very well In both the Cremation, as well as helping us with other aspects of what needed to be done next. I highly recommend Neptune society if cremation is part of the plan. And I’m grateful that my other parent pre-arranged for the same service.
