Too bad we don’t have a recording of our phone conversation, which would prove that this is the worst service in the area. A mechanic came for a jump start and demanded $400 (which is extremely overpriced for such a service). We agreed only because we were in a hurry. But that’s not even the worst part: he came, did the job, and we sent him an EFS code, since from the beginning the agreement was to pay that way. After some time, this mechanic started blowing up my phone, threatening me, and saying he would start charging me penalties for every minute “lost” just because he couldn’t use the EFS code. He began swearing and making threats. Not only is the service itself outrageously expensive, but the mechanic was also completely unprofessional and disrespectful, with no idea how to treat customers. I absolutely do not recommend dealing with them. If you call them, you’ll only regret it and ruin your mood and your day. Stay away from this service!

I called this shop to replace a trailer tire on a snowy day with black ice everywhere. Despite the tough conditions, they came through! The technician kept me updated with ETAs throughout the process, which gave me peace of mind. Exceptional service, especially under such challenging circumstances. Highly recommend!

Where do I start ? We are a small family owned trucking business. One of our trucks was coming in on the weekend with a load to be delivered the following Monday. The truck needed an oil change. Knowing our options were limited I contacted Neil asking if he could help. Yes, he said no problem. This particular truck happened to spring a fuel leak on the way to Georgia. I sent Neil a “heads up” text letting him know about the leak. “No problem” he said “whatever I have to do, your truck will be ready for your delivery Monday morning”. Well, it not only wasn’t ready for delivery (3 days late) but he DID do whatever he had to do to fix the leak. This included having a hydraulic line molded to make it work, put the fuel filter on so tight and crooked it had to be chiseled off by the next mechanic and needless to say the truck leaked fuel way worse than before less than 24 hours after he “fixed” it. Yes we have a Hino and parts are sometimes difficult to get. He was aware of this from the very beginning. At one point he even said “I don’t know what to tell you, get the part and I’ll fix it “ and hung up. Wait…. Isn’t that HIS job ? Parts and labor ? Neil is extremely rude, obnoxious and in my opinion lacking professionalism in the industry. Top this off with a $1800+ charge for basically an oil change (he used our oil that was provided). We had to have another mechanic fix what he made worse. It’s bitter sweet that this happened. It cost us the $$ for the load because of the delay and a $1800 charge that we are disputing. But on the other hand we found an EXCELLENT, professional reliable mechanic that is now part of our team and will be our “go to” guy for any maintenance for our growing fleet.

Today my truck shut completely down in the middle of I 16 West of Savannah . I didn’t know any mobile mechanics in the area so I searched and came across Neil’s Mobile Repair. After speaking with Neil he was at my truck in less than an hour. He accessed and completed minor repairs, however that did not solve my problem. As a result Neil did not charge me for a Service Call nor did he charge me for the work that he did. That lets me know that there are still some honest and dependable mechanics out here. Thanks Neil. So if you’re in the Savannah area and you’re looking for a Mobile Diesel Mechanic don’t hesitate to call Neil’s Mobile Repair.

Had a radiator hose blow out on I-95 south of Savannah. After searching online for a mobile diesel mechanic, I was lucky to come across Neil. From start to finish—communication, service, and price were all 5 stars. He was fast, professional, and honest. If you’re reading this wondering if Neil is the right guy—stop wondering. Just hope he’s available when you need him.

My trucking company has been in business for 14 years and I have never experienced higher quality service than Neil’s Mobile Repair. Neil helped me not once but twice . My truck was broken on the highway.First time it was spring and nobody would help me with this problem , I called all the shops around . Second time it was drive shaft with huge problem ( it needed 7 new parts drive shaft ) and Neil took care of it really fast . He was 45 min away from my truck and he didn’t refuse to help. He even gave my driver to ride to go eat. The price was definitely worth it.He didn’t use my problems to his advantage to overcharge like others shop would. Great Shop!!!
