Hey everyone, I own Neiko’s Fence, a fence company based right here in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I wanted to share a little bit about how we approach business — because for us, it’s never been just about fences.
We started out of the Creston neighborhood, and from day one, the mission has been clear: treat our team with respect, serve our customers with integrity, and never cut corners — whether that’s on the job site or within our own company culture.
One of the biggest influences on how we run our company has been Leaders Eat Last by Simon Sinek. That book really reshaped how we think about leadership and building a team. It’s all about fostering trust, putting your people first, and giving them real opportunities to grow.
At Neiko’s Fence, we believe in promotion from within, building leaders at every level, and creating a rising tide mentality — when our people grow, our company grows, and so does our community.
