From the day I made the phone call to the moment my garage door was installed, Navi provided us with impeccable service throughout the entire process. There were significant issues with our framing and concrete slab but with Navi’s expertise he figured out a way around our issue and got the garage door installed within the next few days. I highly recommend Navpoint!

I recently had a garage door installed and was extremely impressed with the service. The team was very professional, knowledgeable, and clearly experienced. They worked efficiently, completed the job quickly, and made sure everything was done right. The whole process was smooth from start to finish. I highly recommend them to anyone needing garage door installation or service.

Our first garage door installation with Navpoint Garage Doors went smoothly; however, the pricing was significantly higher than other quotes we received for the same Clopay garage door from other authorized Clopay dealers. The difference was approximately $4,500. We still chose Navpoint based on positive feedback we had heard. Unfortunately, our experience with the second door was not positive. Prior to ordering, it was clearly communicated to Nav, the owner, that installation on the carport side could not proceed until final inspection was completed. Nav indicated this would not be an issue, and based on that understanding, a deposit was paid. After several weeks, we began receiving frequent emails and text messages requesting full payment, along with suggestions that the doors could be stored on our property. We explained that we did not have suitable space for storage and were concerned about potential damage to the doors. Subsequently, Charn, another owner, contacted us and stated that the garage doors had been destroyed due to high storage costs from Clopay. I cannot independently verify this information and can only share what was communicated to us. As of our last communication, we were not provided the garage doors, nor was our deposit refunded. While the initial installation was completed, our overall experience involved pricing concerns, ongoing payment pressure, unclear communication, and unresolved issues regarding the deposit and delivery of the second door. Based on our experience, I would recommend that others obtain multiple quotes and clearly document all terms in writing before proceeding with Navpoint Garage Doors.

My garage coil springs snapped, called Navpoint for a quote, within the same day had them replaced. Excellent communication, great punctuality, and transparency with all the staff. Also gave us tips on how to extend the longevity of our door to avoid costly repairs in the future.

Hired Navpoint Garage Doors for my renovations and the doors they installed were awesome. Exactly what they said they would be. They installed new doors and motors and were on time, professional, clean and did an awesome job with my instal. Navi was fair in his pricing and took the time to explain all the details to make a decision on which doors to purchase. If your looking for garage doors, don’t waste time looking around; call navpoint!

Worst Service Experience – Avoid at All Costs Hired Navpoint Garage Doors, Surrey to convert my carport into a garage. It was a straightforward job, and I didn’t choose them for price (in fact, they were one of the most expensive quotes I received) — I chose them purely for promised timelines. That was my mistake. From the very start, the admin/front desk experience was frustrating. Even after 10+ requests to correct my name on invoices they kept sending everything with the wrong name. If a company can’t get a customer’s name right after multiple reminders, what does that say about attention to detail? Like many garage door companies, they subcontract installs — which can work fine if managed well. Unfortunately, it wasn’t. My door panels arrived with visible coffee/tea stains. The installer tried to clean them but couldn’t. I expected Navpoint to step in, contact the manufacturer, and explain next steps. Instead, there was zero proactive communication. No call. No email. Just an invoice for the full balance the very next day. I withheld payment until the damage issue was addressed. For almost a month, I heard nothing — no text, no follow-up email, nothing. Then suddenly I get a message saying payment is overdue, claiming they “tried to call every day but couldn’t reach me.” I had full reception in Canada the entire time and can prove there were no missed calls from them. If a client hasn’t paid and you truly can’t reach them, wouldn’t you try email or a site visit? When the owner (“Nav”) finally came to fix the paint, he arrived visibly irritated, complaining and implying it wasn’t his problem since they’re “just the installers” and the manufacturer was to blame. Imagine buying a new car from a dealer with scratches and being told, “We just sell them — complain to the manufacturer.” That’s the level of accountability I got. He did the touch-up, but the frustration and lack of professionalism were obvious. At no point did I feel like they cared about making it right — only about getting paid. Bottom line: Poor communication, lack of ownership when problems arise, and a dismissive attitude from the top down. If you’re in Coquitlam/Surrey, know that garage door installers in the area already have a reputation for subpar service — and unfortunately, Navpoint fits right in. I would not recommend them to anyone who values professionalism, responsiveness, and accountability.

Great service! Fast installation, good quality. Unfortunately we suffered some minor vandalism, but Navpoint came through and gave us some touch up paint. Highly recommended.

I’m extremely disappointed with Navpoint garage doors. After just 3 months of use, the spring broke on our garage door, despite the fact that it had only been installed for 2.5 years in our new house. When I called customer service, the lady on the phone was completely unhelpful and seemed more interested in getting off the phone than addressing my issue. She mumbled through the conversation and refused to offer any help outside of their 295-400 service charge. If you expect good customer service when something goes wrong, I’d stay away from Navpoint.

Called for emergency service today. The technician showed up within half an hour and fixed the problem right away. Glad we chose Navpoint to install garage doors for our new home. Great quality and service!
