I took these classes back in 2020 during COVID. I was the first hybrid class and it went extremely well for how unprepared everyone was with what was going on in the world. Lindsay and Bethany did such an amazing job on the online/book section and I enjoyed getting that first for the four weeks before hopping into the clinical side. I felt like it gave me an idea of what to expect without it all happening at once. I had Amanda B as a teacher and she did an amazing job at explaining everything thoroughly and even giving some of her own stories to make it really personable. I got a job a month out of graduation, at Quirt in Weston. After that I reached out to see if I could potentially help out teaching classes alongside Amanda.
Now flash forward to 2025, I've been helping teach classes since 2020 and it's been such a great experience. Meeting new people with different backgrounds and different reasonings for why they are interested in the dental field. I've enjoyed my time with Lindsay, Bethany, Amanda and a few newer faces who have joined in the classes. I'm learning even more about my job as well since I'm teaching it, I'm learning faster and better ways to do things which each class. Growing better and more confident with each class, it gives me a better opportunity to teach others more ways to do things than just the book states.
If you are up in the air about doing it, just full send it. I don't believe anyone will regret giving it a go! Hope to see you in the next class!
