🔧 Main Shut-Off Valve & Pressure Regulator Installation – San Francisco
Our team recently completed a plumbing upgrade for a multi-unit residential property in San Francisco. During our inspection, we found that the building's water pressure was exceeding 80 PSI, which can lead to premature wear on plumbing fixtures, appliances, and pipes.
✅ Installed 2 new main shut-off valves
✅ Installed 2 new pressure reducing valves (PRVs)
✅ Used durable ProPress fittings for secure connections
✅ Adjusted and calibrated water pressure to a safe 70 PSI for each apartment
✅ Tested the entire system for proper operation and leak-free performance
Because the existing piping needed to be modified to install the pressure regulators, we also recommended replacing the aging shut-off valves at the same time. This provides homeowners and tenants with reliable water control and helps prevent future plumbing issues.
💧 Proper water pressure is essential for protecting your plumbing system and extending the life of water heaters, faucets, toilets, and other fixtures.
Another successful project completed with safety, reliability, and long-term performance in mind!
