🛠️ Washer & Dryer Box Installation + Garage Sink Plumbing Upgrade 🛠️
We completed a full plumbing installation including a new washer and dryer box as well as connections for a garage sink.
🧰 Washer & Dryer Box Installation
In compliance with California Plumbing Code, we installed a washer and dryer box with:
Built-in shut-off valves 🚰
Hammer arrestors (to prevent water hammer) ⚡
Proper drainage line for safe and efficient operation
🚿 Garage Sink Plumbing Preparation & Installation
During the rough plumbing stage, we added additional angle stop valves to allow future connection of a garage sink.
We also installed a dedicated drain line to ensure proper drainage for the sink.
After rough-in work was completed, the garage sink was installed and fully connected to the new water supply and drain system. Everything was tested for proper function and leak-free operation.
💧 Water Softener Replacement & Reconfiguration
We also replaced the existing water softener with a new unit. Since the water heater location was kept unchanged, we installed the new system in the available space next to it:
Main softener unit placed on the right side of the water heater
Brine (salt) tank placed on the left side for easy access and maintenance 🧂
